Niche User: The kids are great, teachers do very well at their jobs, and everyone is very happy! Homework is given in appropriate measurements and students are given a specific amount of time to finish and turn it in. Junior: I go to Winfield High School. It has a good community. Most people at the school respect the teachers, staff, and students. The people here are accepting, patient, and kind. The best was that teachers are willing to help. They want to help students succeed both in academics and life. They offer a safe space for students. But the worst part was the students. Most people are good though there is a group that is disrespectful toward teachers who are trying to help. Their attitudes are extremely annoying; they are failing classes yet think they are the top dog when they're not. I hope those students realize the efforts the teachers put in when they are not getting paid enough for it. I hope those students become more disciplined and care more about education. I also want our school to obtain more grants or do fundraisers so teachers can get the pay they deserve. Lastly, I desire the school to be a suitable environment for all its inhabitants so no one is stressed.... Read 7 reviews

Senior: The teachers in this school district are kind, hardworking, and love their kids. The largest issue with this school district is the low budget. I remember in elementary and middle school there was always a shortage of school supplies, and parents were asked to donate. More often than not, teachers would use their own paychecks to get supplies for the kids. The lower budget is seen in the high school as well, with the largest issue being athletics. It is hard to compete against schools like Derby when they have access to so much more than we did. Overall, the quality of education was great for the rural area, I just feel we were at a disadvantage financially.... Read 10 reviews
