French Broad River Academy
Other: The French Broad River Academy is hands down the best middle school I have ever been a part of. The school puts care and intention to developing the whole person at a crucial point in the development of young people. The academics are rigorous and engaging, tying in experiential and relevant content. The outdoor experiences pair well with the other aspects of the program to challenge students, develop confidence and determination, and are all led by staff who are not only great classroom teachers and exceptional role models but also experts on the river and in the mountains.
