Senior: I have been in the district since first grade. I have thoroughly enjoyed the events that the district and schools have run, including assemblies, competitions, etc. However, I feel as though the infrastructure of the schools themselves could be improved. Many of the older schools are packed to capacity and are not a comfortable environment for the students to learn in. The newer schools are significantly nicer though, and provide a well-lit and spacious environment for students to be in. I think that the district continually improves upon the services it offers to its students, like counseling and mental health. I think that these services could be improved more though to help each individual student succeed within and also after they leave the district.... Read 207 reviews

Junior: New Hope-Solebury (NHS) is a very small high school, and I've seen a lot more benefits to that than negatives. NHS provides lots of opportunities to get involved in extracurriculars, leadership, and self-expression. Their academics are consistently ranked within the top 50 public schools in the state, and more often than not in the top 25. The faculty is very kind and willing to help all students. The sports programs at NHS are very small and are one of the weaker aspects of NHS, but the smaller environment gives everyone a chance to participate and for the stronger athletes to flourish. The smaller school environment allows for students to make friends easily within their classes and activities, and get involved in small groups through the many volunteer clubs at NHS. It seems as if all the staff members are on a collaborative mission to prepare the students for higher learning and they are succeeding in doing so. Alum: The academics are pretty good, and Council Rock has a reputation among state colleges as being challenging and demanding. Most AP courses are offered between the two high schools. The teachers at Council Rock are a hit or a miss. As a student, I encountered several facility members that played an active role in my education and my future. However, any student/parent is sure to encounter as many unmotivated and passionless teachers in the district. In addition, there is a severe lack of clubs and activities between the two high schools. Besides the ever-shrinking music and arts department and the standard honor societies, interesting and fun after-school activities are extremely hard to come by. As a student, I was disappointed by the general lack of creativity from facility and students. This may also be a statement on the great lack of diversity on campus. Alum: The school district and the community, in general, is very supportive, helpful and welcoming. My past experiences at the district's elementary, middle and high school were very positive and the learning environment was amazing. The teachers were also very good with regards to how they taught the classes and how they went about making sure every student understood the material. The guidance counselors were very helpful in providing the support needed, to students when they felt anxious and stressed. The one thing I would like to see change would the fact that my former middle and high schools were very crowded and the class sizes were quite big as well so maybe building a new school or two would be helpful for future students.... Alum: As an alum of Quakertown Community High school, I can reflect an overall great experience within the district. I had attended schools in the district from k-12, and am grateful for the education that I had received. In my years at Quakertown, I accumulated many friends as the atmosphere was always positive, and the district strongly supported the families attending the schools. Being active in the community, I played soccer and ran track and field as the athletic department holds a spectacular reputation for team and support. As a matter of fact, Friday night football games on the Alumni Field is an experience I would long to have once more, as the student section even made the local news paper. Apart from the small incidents that Quakertown school district experienced resulting in backlash from families, the way the schools would handle such events were professional and orderly, and I would not make any major changes to the processes.... Senior: Palisades School District is a good school district for children of all ages. The teachers at Tinicum Elementary are amazing and very good at teaching basic math and reading skills. The teachers at all schools are helpful for guidance about life after high school as well. I have been challenged through the courses taken at Palisades High School and will continue to be through my senior year. Parent: We chose to move here 15 years ago from a very large neighboring district so our kids wouldn't feel like a number. Our two graduates from 2015 were very prepared for post-graduate work in college and also received the skills necessary to be an effective part of their workplaces. Our two current students are also prospering in their schools. Politicians come and go, so our school board and the parents at the meetings, fight over what they consider to be very important issues. But, the teachers and administrators of Pennridge are diligent in their work and live the mantra of "here for the kids" and "kids first!" That is why our children have the opportunities and are excelling with the opportunities that are given. It's easy to fill out any survey with only negatives and all schools have a degree of negatives. So, in that vein, here's an honest and positive review, because, We are Pennridge Proud!... Parent: Centennial SD is a centrally-located mid-size school district in Bucks County. They have dedicated teachers who encourage their students to excel and learn the latest technologies. Alum: I have been going to Morrisville Borough school district since I was in kindergarten. I grew up in this town I’ve seen a lot of people come and go and overall made so many friends and got a very good education. I love how diverse our school is and how fun a classroom can be while still learning of course. I have to say, our school has made many changes throughout the faculty and students in the way we run things at her school and it’s all for the better Morrisville school district has always tried to better their environment so, in all honesty there wouldn’t be anything I would like to change....
