Junior: I have had a great experience at school in Bemidji. However, now that I am older I have noticed some things that I, as a student, would like to see changed. There has been an increase of vandalism and fighting at my high school, like many across the country. I believe that the kids causing these issues are not being punished in the most efficient way. My peers and I, who are all sick and tired of this, want to see change. We want those kids out of our school so we can feel safe in our learning environment again. I do like how our teachers are always there for us when we need help, and if we need someone to talk to. I enjoy the block schedule we have, and I do not wish for that to change. I also enjoy the many extracurricular options we have at our schools, it is very easy for someone to find an activity they enjoy.... Read 8 reviews

Junior: I love how small the community is at TrekNorth, we have a small environment and we are not a big school. Trek has amazing teachers, they really love their job and they are always willing to take ideas from the students and they really seem to care about us. They do their job so well and they are always willing to challenge us on our school work. TrekNorth is a very welcoming school, the teachers and staff make you feel like you belong there. When I started at Trek, the teachers and most of the students made me feel very comfortable there. I got very comfortable at the school, very fast. This school also has amazing academics, they have really awesome courses you can take. The teachers teach the courses very well and I have really learned a lot during my classes. Trek also has really good AP courses they offer, the teachers teach the AP courses very well. Parent: Blackduck is such a great place for kids to go to school. With a 4 day school week the kids get a nice balance of school and home life. 3 days off gives them a nice break to unwind, spend more time outdoors and with family & friends. Parent: We have one daughter in K at NPS (she started in nursery). We love NPS and could not be happier with our choice! She has been through so much change these past several years and it’s impossible to overstate how much social emotional growth and support she’s experienced at NPS. She’s also had tremendous academic growth and is reading, writing, doing simple math, is curious about the world and loves learning. Probably my favorite part about the school are the wonderful specials — my daughter loves the singing, art, music, drama, sports. She even comes home talking about what it means to be a good person based on the core values that are woven through the school lessons and chapels. Senior: It's a good school and the teachers are nice but the schoolwork is not challenging enough and honestly I think it could do better especially since there aren't any clubs formed nor any to join but there are a lot of diversity most attending are Muslims too.They have sports, spelling honey bee rivalry, science and math reasonable. Freshman: 2021-2022 was my first year as a high schooler and I would say Elizabeth Seton High school made the transition better than I expected! I first learned about the school through a friend's older sibling. I toured the school for the first time. My first impression of the school was great and very welcoming! A few of the then seniors talked to me about the school itself and I almost instantly loved the woman-empowered environment around the school. The idea of an all-girl school at first did not thrill me but now I can definitely say it was a great decision! The school offers many inclusive clubs and sports. I joined the soccer team before the school year began and met amazing people. Even if soccer isn't your thing, they also offer basketball, swimming, and many other sports. It's not all sports based though! There is also a robotics club, book club, equestrian club, BSU, theater and so much more.
