Parent: The best part of my experience in high school is the extracurricular activities such as band, stage crew, volleyball, and being a manager for various sports. The worst part of my experience in high school is witnessing violence among my peers such as verbal conflicts, bullying and physical fights. Something I would like to see change is the way bullies are disciplined. I have had multiple experiences with bullies being under-disciplined. Junior: My experience at Egg Harbor Township so far has been interesting. All of my classes have been lovely. Administration is fair and always understanding. A few teachers have stood out to me at this school. Their kindness towards me never goes unnoticed and I always appreciate everything they do for me. School work has never been a huge struggle for me, but when it is, a teachers are always super helpful. I can’t say I can complain about much, but school lunches are gross! I had this garlic bread with cheese today and I couldn’t stomach more than two bites. On the other hand, all the lunch ladies are very sweet and helpful always. The after school activities are very organized and fun. It’s always a treat staying after school for a club and I think it’s a great and productive way to spend my afternoon rather then go home and take a nap. Senior: My experience at Hammonton High School was a very positive and rewarding. My parents, teachers, and counselors were always helpful and assisted me to help me succeed. The changes I would make is I would recommend for guidance counselors to assist all of the students with a success plan on how to apply to colleges and how to apply to private scholarships. I had to inquire on my own and would not have learned as about scholarships and how to apply to colleges if I did not take the initiative to request for guidance on my own. Senior: I like that when you walk into Buena Regional High School, you get that sense of familiarity and comfort. If a student is stressed or has a problem, we have many resources throughout the day to be able to relax or even just talk. Teachers are prepared to help with problems we face whether it be during the day or at home doing homework. Being a senior coming out of the pandemic, our school has given us many opportunities we would not have felt possible, and just events to actually be able to celebrate our hard work throughout these 4 years. Students are also able to find themselves and discover new things through our school clubs and events, such as GSA or National Honor Society, where students can volunteer and gain community service experience. There are many opportunities for students to gain real world experience. The Teen Center provide job availabilities that can follow into career paths, such as AtlantiCare, which allows students who just graduate to gain hospital experience.... Read 8 reviews

Senior: I love the experience I had within the Atlantic City School District. I have everlasting memories and the teachers are great. They have been preparing me for the college life and life in general since I was in the first grade. I have became a greater student and I am forever thankful for the what the district has provided me with as well. The only thing that may need a change within the district is the school safety as there is often much drama and violence going on within the district pretty often.
