Senior: Ashland High School is a very welcoming school district. The staff are excellent and are interested in giving the best in each student. I would like to see more involvement with two of the counselors. I have heard that they are not on top of things like my counselor is. The school is currently under construction to update the building, but I feel like some of the accessories that are being added is unnecessary. Overall a great school.... Read 41 reviews

Alum: Hillsdale High School was a great experience for me. The faculty was like a family member to me, especially since it was a small school. The best thing about my High School was that we had FFA. This organization taught me so many skills and prepared me for my future. Two things that I would change about my school is our class options. We were very limited on what college classes were offered. Which was hard because going into to college with few credits compared to others was a struggle. Also teachers did not prepare me for college. If I did not take the writing college class that was offered then I would have been so behind in college. Not to mention, being informed about writing resumes, cover letters and all the necessities for applying for jobs or even scholarships.... Read 8 reviews

Freshman: I love the School, and All of the teachers are great! There are many options of classes, and the staff keep it very clean! The teachers are easy to talk to- they will help you with whatever you need. There are Both Band and Choir, although no Orchestra but the amazing band program makes up for it. The building itself is not the best laid out, but it isn't too hard to find classes. They try to keep possible classes in certain areas, and most of the electives are somewhat close to each other. I really do like the school itself, and all the people within the district. Most of the Students are really nice and helpful as well.... Read 13 reviews

Alum: My siblings and open enroll to the Mapleton local school district. We found everything about it to be better than the school district we live in. The academic opportunities were better. The wrestling program was second to none. Overall great experience!... Read 10 reviews
