Senior: The Kirksville R-III School District has treated me very well over the past thirteen years. In this school district, everyone treats each other like family which I really appreciate. The teachers are always willing to work with their students and give extensions if needed. The only downfall that I see with this school district is how they have handled the Covid-19 pandemic. They have made three different plans in which they have not followed so it is hard for parents to make a plan for their kids if they don't know what plan the district is planning on going off of that week. I completely understand that the school administration is going through a lot right now and that it is hard to please everyone but I feel that this could have been handled in a better way.... Senior: I started attending Adair County R-II my eighth grade year. I was kind of nervous, but I had a positive experience. Even though I had the option to go back to my old school, I stuck with this one. This school has a nice vibe to it. The smallness of it makes it easy to be friends with the entire school. I am friends with everyone in the high school. I am able to walk around the entire school K-12. I wish this school was more supportive of music. I am the drum major of the band. There aren't many kids in band. I am the only kid in my class that is in band. I would recommend this school because it is full of nice people. We may give each other a hard time, but we rarely mean it.... Read 4 reviews

Alum: It is a very nice little school that has roughly at most 30 kids per grade, but it has the nicest staff and plenty of after school activities. It is an old building but it is willing to take in plenty of students from different backgrounds and is very helpful with students that need extra help. I enjoyed my time there and never had any problems with the school the entire time I was there up to graduation, I was part of many organizations and was also in some sports as well....
