Parent: Great school. Definitely has earned their blue ribbon status! The teachers are kind and understanding while also maintaining high educational standards. Courses are rigorous but also well tailored to the student with learning differences. There area few teachers who are sort of old-school and don't always understand different learning styles of students. Unfortunately these particular individuals can have a negative effect on a student's understanding of the material they are teaching...but that can be found at any school and will probably resolve itself in time with newly educated teachers on their way in that might better understand the new world of different learning styles. All in all, Fairview is a great school district and we wouldn't have chosen anywhere else to have our child educated. It's a good and safe environment and the class sizes are small which also assists with learning. I wish more districts were this size as it is very beneficial to students.... Read 40 reviews

Senior: Fort Leboeuf Highschool is very fun. They take good care of their sports and take their sports, as well as there performing arts and education very seriously. Parent: All of my family has attended this school district. Nice schools, good education. During COVID, they did virtual but let the kids have too much freedom. It really affected their grades and GPA for their future. I wish they would have done zoom and made them more accountable for themselves and their education. Senior: Girard School District is a great school to attend if you are planning to move or already within the district. Just to start off, Girard has been excelling in academics for the past several years. The staff is always willing to go the extra mile and help you succeed. There are also many activities that any student could participate in. There are sports, clubs, and many activities that anybody can be included or participate. Everybody can be happy and greeted by many smiling faces when they walk through the doors. If you were to ask any student for help, many of them would stop what they are doing to help you find a class, or help you find a certain teacher. There are many scholarships that you can earn through the Girard School District that help promote academic success through future endeveors for the students. Alum: Northwestern School District is located in a small town and we are all one big family. I moved to northwestern my sophomore year and it was the best decision I have ever made. The teachers and administration were always so helpful and outgoing to ensure success of each student. Smaller class sizes increased opportunities for me and the many clubs and activities made it easier to be more involved. My senior year I was apart of the class council, cheerleading squad, student council, art club, pjas, and yearbook club and I created many lifelong friends. Senior: Union City high school is turning itself into a very highly regarded small school. I enjoyed my experience here as I was able to participate in a vast amount of activities and clubs. I was able to get a great education due to the high quality teachers at the school and their drive to prepare kids for college. Moreover, I played in a lot of sports and the atmosphere on sports at the school is very positive. Niche User: I loved the teachers at the school, and how they would try to make learning fun and not a chore. I really enjoyed how they also had different school courses. People could learn on a higher path, lower path, or average. I enjoyed that because it showed me a challenge and got me prepared for college. I think it should have more measures for security purposes.
