Senior: Overall, I have had nothing but positive experiences at Elkhorn. It's a very athletic oriented community which can be really exciting at times. Other times, this is frustrating because all the other organizations are looked past. As a part of the athletic community myself, I truly love all the support surrounding all our sports. Senior: I came to WHS as a freshman after being homeschooled through middle school, and it has been a wonderful experience. Academics are strong and include many opportunities such as online classes, AP classes, and the option to take classes at UW-Whitewater as an upperclassman. This allows for even more choices than the regular courses offered at the high school. Teachers are amazing—friendly, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable both in their subject areas and in life. In addition to other extracurricular activities, sports offer a way to learn something new. While the different sports perform well in conference, they are open to anyone interested in joining, and coaches are wonderful to work with and learn from. Senior: Delavan-Darien School District is a place to grow through knowledge and extracurricular activities. If you are athletic, your coaches will do everything in their power to showcase your talent. If you love to play instruments, we are constantly hearing positive feedback from both bandh and orchestra. I couldn't have had a better place to call home these past four years. Senior: The programs here are phenomenal especially for those who want to get a head start on college. There are plenty of AP classes and for whatever classes Badger doesn't offer, students can take them for free through Gateway Technical College via the promise program. It is free as long as the student passes of course. The teachers are also very pro-student: staying after late for whatever reason, encouraging discussions, and never picking favorites. We have alarms for everything and there are rarely any cliques. The staff is also always welcoming and the food is great!... Read 7 reviews
