Senior: I loved how dedicated the faculty was to giving students a quality education. Increased school spirit and updated facilities would make TV the perfect school. They are planning on building a new school in the upcoming years which will greatly increase students desire to attend Tusky Valley. Senior: Dover has very experienced and qualified teachers. The teachers and administration care very much about their students. The teachers do all the can to help all the students succeed. Whenever I was having any trouble or needed some help, there was always someone willing to help. The teachers also care about having a great learning environment. At Dover city schools, it is very easy to improve and succeed because of the amazing people and the environment. They also have really good sports programs for all the students. Although academics is the highest priority, they have developed an amazing sports program. The high school is really new. Dover overall has really good faculties available to them. The school has really great programs for helping out in the community. These include Big brothers/sisters, key club, and interact club, etc. There is also a variety of clubs and activities available for all students. There is also really good food in the cafeteria.... Senior: I am a current senior at NPHS. I've had a great school experience in the New Philadelphia School District. All the Teachers are very kind and always willing to go out of their way to help the students in any way they can. Every teacher in this school district are very passionate about what they teach which rubs off on the students causing us to love what we learn. There are many opportunities here and they are all great to prepare us for our future, and the world we live in. Sophomore: The teachers are great and take their jobs seriously, while making it fun for students. Teachers help the students understand difficult topics and show a great ammount of patience and kindness. The staff of the school are thoughtful and genuinely show interest in the students lives and their well being. Students here are held to a higher standard than most other districts in the area. There are many inviting clubs to be involved in, as well as sports teams and electives that promote diversity and do a great job at including everyone showing interest. The counselors do a wonderful job at preparing students for life after highschool. They are extremely encouraging and helpful. Indian Valley provides a safe environment for learning and growth! Alum: I graduated from SHS. We have a beautiful new facility - kindergarten through 12th grade. We are small but mighty. The community totally supports the school by passing levies and participating in school activities. We take pride in our school and love watching the young people as they grow. Junior: Sandy valley is a very loving and friendly school. I loved all of the teachers there, they are always there to help you grow our education, and they are always there for help. I would like to see less kids getting bullied and more help from the school with that. Another thing I really love about sandy valley, is the community, everyone helps each other out, there is never a moment where anyone is alone. The administration always makes sure we have everything we need, and the we are always safe. My favorite thing about sandy valley is all of our fundraisers we do to support our community. Every year we have a lip sync battle against students and teachers. This is how we raise money to support some of our clubs. The safety at sandy valley is very high, there was only one moment that I have ever felt unsafe and they reassured everyone in a matter of seconds. Sophomore: I could never dream of going anywhere other than Claymont City School District. The teachers throughout my district are astounding, shaping the student body phenomenally day in and day out. Full of great students and alumni alike, Claymont is, in my eyes, the best district in the county. Our high school has an abundance of activities, clubs, and extracurriculars for the student body. Every student has a chance to make an impact here, as opportunities seem to be never-ending. While I view my school district as remarkable, others do not say the same. I often hear assumptions being made about students at Claymont. It is a common for outsiders to characterize our school goers as "dirty," "stupid," and "going nowhere in life." It is known that many of the male students attending the high school are smokeless tobacco users. I would like to see this fact changed, as it affects all those associated with the district.... Senior: I like Newcomerstown High School, because I feel like I’m home when I am there. Everyone treats each other like a family and it overall has a good vibe. The teachers there are absolutely amazing, and they teach you but have fun while doing it. There are many positive leaders which help out a lot. One thing I wish would change is the amount of student and staff that go to sporting events or even play the sport. Our teams are usually low numbered and not many people get involved, but I believe with tour leaders we have they can change that and make more people want to participate.... Read 3 reviews
