Senior: My overall experience has been good. The staff is incredible especially the teachers. I love the learning environment they create and how much they care about us as students. The worst parts of my experience had been problems caused by other students. Such as fights or drama, but the school staff handle the issues very well. That I still rate my school 5/5 stars. I find the food to be okay, but I have the option to pack lunch so it is not that bad. I love the after-school opportunities that are presented such as clubs, volunteering, and athletics. Middle School Student: As a student at this school, Indian Hill has provided me with numerous educational opportunities, provided me a safe place to learn, and has proven to be an excellent school overall. There is little to no bullying or social conflict, the facilities are superb, and the academics are strong. The reason I put only 4 stars is that Indian Hill is not for everyone. Let me make this very clear. About 90% of the students in the school are affluent, white, and somewhat sheltered. Most students are unaware of any world beyond the 10 miles radius of their house. Being a person of color at this school is also very alienating, but not as much as lack of privilege. There are kids in my class who complain about having to fly to Florida in commercial first-class instead of a private plane, who have never cleaned a kitchen or a bathroom. This of course is not everyone, but it is normal to have a maid at home. If you don't like being around kids like that, Indian Hill isn't the best choice.... Read 44 reviews

Parent: Mason is the perfect place to be challenged and grow. Many people in Mason (unlike a lot of other Greater Cincinnati school districts) are not originally from Ohio. The school district has incredible cultural diversity, and defining "cool" in Mason means so many things depending on which activities you're in. Science Olympiad? Yep, that's dope. Nationally-ranked Marching Band and Strings? Uber commitment. Perennial-champion cross country teams? Very cool. As big as the school district is, it somehow still seems small. Parent: As a working parent of two students during the pandemic, I would have to say that Wyoming has done a tremendous job balancing safety for both students and staff along with maintaining excellent instruction for all students, whether in-person, remote or hybrid. We have always been impressed with the quality of the teachers our children have had in the classroom. This year they have all risen to the challenge and our students (3rd and 6th grade) have continued to learn and progress despite the plethora of challenges presented by the pandemic. The approach of educating the "whole child" is evidenced by the inclusion of the extraordinary arts and music programs within the curriculum. Junior: I have been at Beechwood High School since kindergarten. Throughout the course of these 13 years at Beechwood I have seen many things change. All of the changes have been very good to the community and the school as a whole. Some things I would like to see change are the food, I know that isn't a high priority but the food at our school is not very good and it makes some people not feel good. Another thing I would like to see change is the parent involvement, involving parents more into the school atmosphere would give Beechwood the kick that it needs. Overall I believe that Beechwood is a good school and should be taken more seriously and the effort it puts in needs to be given back as well. Senior: The education system here is very excellent, they offer a much higher quality education than the other schools in the area. Here they provide specialized classes that help prepare for anything you may want to pursue after high school. The only thing I would change would be the extracurricular focus here. Alum: '14 alum. Lakota gave me a solid foundation in all the basic academic subjects. Overall great teachers at all levels K-12. Band program was, and I'm pretty sure still is, great! I loved all the band options. The only thing I wish was a little different were more opportunities to explore subjects beyond math, science, history, and English before college. I would have loved to have learned about natural resources, geology, agriculture, or ecology. Senior: Coming into this district in the middle of my freshman year, the environment, students, and staff were extremely welcoming. It was a very easy transition in a tough time. Having been in this school for 3 years now, I've seen how connected the community is within our school and its activities, how close everyone is to each other and the staff, and how supportive our environment is. I felt so disconnected when I moved here and now I've never felt more at home. Our staff is supportive and truly care about how I'm doing, both academically and emotionally. Junior: Throughout my 12 whole years in the Ross Local School District, I was never disappointed. Ross offers so many opportunities, extra curriculars, and so much support from all of the staff. I was never disappointed in the performance of Morgan Elementary, Ross Middle School, and Ross High School. I have never heard of another district with such passionate teachers. The teachers employed by the Ross Local School District go above and beyond ever single day for their students no matter the circumstance. The bond between teachers and students in this district is outstanding. Along with their passion for teaching, the staff will do anything in their power to insure that every single student will succeed both in school and in their futures. The leadership of all 5 schools in our district is insane, with every educator always wanting the best for their students and staff. Parent: What impresses me the most about the Milford School District is their forward thinking/proactive mindset. They well-prepare students for college and offer college credit/AP/Great Oaks classes to accelerate higher education and to offset college expenses. They are professional, compassionate, responsive and invested in every student. They go the extra mile to make every student feel seen, heard and represented from Pre-K to 12th grade. I appreciate their no-nonsense approach to the teen vaping crisis with early intervention and rehab programs. They offer a wide variety of sports and extra-curricular activities. My personal favorites are the Band and Choir programs and Robotics/Battle Bots/Xtreme Bots. They provide mental health professionals and support at every school in the district. Senior: This school is filled with many great opportunities. The people are amazing and sincerely care about getting an education. The area technology center is also a great experience and very hands on with the different programs they offer. I am in Health Science because I might decide to do nursing. You get to learn the different skills and Curriculum for a nursing assistant. Senior: As a student who is about to graduate this year I can say they now have wide selection of electives that you can choose between from which I find the list to be very excellent give a range from Home/College 101 to Forensic Science to the Arts! In high school you’ll most likely be prepared for life outside of school with the range of electives. Alum: Kenton county schools provided me with several opportunities for growth and to prepare myself for college. In high school, teachers emphasized the importance of tests like the ACT to getting into the best school and earning the largest scholarships. As a result, faculty strived ensure that all students performed well on these tests by setting ambitious but attainable goals and preparing students through tutoring sessions and practice tests. The extra curricular activities offered in high school spanned a variety of interests so there was truly something for every student to enjoy. However, programs like football and basketball frequently received far more funding than others, such as the drama and art clubs. Kenton county schools also provide a variety of service opportunities to students to better life in the surrounding community.
