Senior: Love the school and teachers! You can tell especially during this hard pandemic crisis that the teachers genuinely care about the students and they are putting their best foot forward. I have learned so much more since moving from Bernalillo Public Schools to Rio Rancho. The programs are much more organized and information is expanded on enough for one to understand concepts. Rio Rancho public schools sees their importance in the community and strives to make a difference while teaching their students how to do the same. Teachers and staff have never been easier to contact and that gives me and a lot of other students a sense of security. Senior: I moved here in the 7th grade and the curriculum and rigor of many courses challenged me throughout the years. School is never perfect, but it is definitely one of the better experiences of my life. I was pleased to see how many options for different classes there were, especially when moving into high school. Senior: I really did enjoy the classes I took through out the years, The school system to be very understanding when it came down to life. When I first showed up to my highschool I was in a wheelchair because the week of the 8th grade graduation I broke my leg, I sat down with Theresa Salar to make sure my freshmen year was okay, I had teachers and people pushing me around in a wheelchair so that was nice. They were very understanding when my father passed away, they made sure that I was was very comfortable and understood when something was to much for me. The only problem would just be the students people grow up differently around here so there were people that werent that great but there was a really good batch of kids.... Read 17 reviews

Senior: I think what needs to change in the Belen Consolidated Schools District is the way people treat there kids. It causes loads of bullying problems and the schools and generated poor work ethic and laziness. About forty percent of the students are nice people the other percent is either lazy or just complete jerks and they affect others that come here. Senior: Myself as a student have grown so much over the years, the people who live in this community are so welcoming and open with others. We acknowledge other people's hardships and find solutions to solve them. At La Cueva high school we've dedicated a lot of our time giving back to the community especially during this pandemic. We've supported our teachers and staff with everything they have done for us , our school senate has included activities we all could have done during the time away from school.
