Parent: I taught at Wilmington High School for 22 years. I had taught in schools in Kentucky and Michigan. I find Wilmington is above average in academics, and in certain school sports. Certain sports can't seem to find dedicated coaches. There is and has been a big problem in racial diversity. Black students are punished more often than white students. Some teachers seems to be indifferent toward black students. Support from the administration is subpar. Overall I loved my 22 years teaching at Wilmington High.... Read 26 reviews
