Senior: I always felt safe in Goddard High School, and though there are definitely some things that need to be fixed, overall I have had a good experience. I love how there are a multitude of ways to get involved in the school, such as clubs and student leadership organizations. I enjoyed being an ambassador in my Junior year and helping underclassmen navigate through high school. I also got involved with marketing classes that allowed me to organize football and basketball games. Most of the teachers I have met are genuinely good people who care about their students' well-being. Resources for classes are almost always provided and help is available to those who need it. If students have trouble with a specific teacher they can usually find aid or talk to a counselor about the problem. It is a predominantly white school but diversity is definitely not frowned upon or discouraged. Alum: The Conway Springs Middle School is a great and vibrant place. Kids have fun in the hallways and in class. They get involved in activities such as tennis, basketball, volleyball, track, Leo's Club, Pennies for Patients, Stuco, and others. One thing I would want to see change is some of the academics. Senior: I love being at Campus High School, the teachers are amazing and are always super supportive and have the willingness to help. The counselors at the school are phenomenal and always have your back as well as pushing the students to their full potential. The athletic department isn't the greatest but we do have some outstanding coaches who really make a difference in students lives. Campus High School has the best business department giving student opportunities to even work at the school bank and coffee shop. Senior: I have enjoyed Wellington High School mostly because the community. The small town always huddles around the highschool and all of its activities and shows overwhelming support. There are also quite a few activities to be a part of. I found myself in Choir, Select Group Choir, Drama and Football. There are many more groups that I wasn't a part of such as Bussiness Professionals of America, Students Against Destructive Decisions and National Honor Society. One thing I would change is the decor. The teachers are also great, I feel like every teacher is passionate and truly care about teaching. It is also super convinient to have the Cowley County Community College extension right by the high school, allowing us to take dual credit college courses. There isn't much spirit, just bland walls unless the cheerleaders put a poster up. A huge mural or a statue somewhere would look super cool.... Read 68 reviews
