Senior: I enjoy a variety of skill-building and character enhancing classes, teachers, clubs and opportunities. I have lots of great things to say about Roosevelt High School in Wyandotte, Michigan.
I like that they have many unique classes like Astronomy and Forensic Science. I feel confident being taught by highly educated professionals. I enjoy a clean environment. I participate in many social and academic clubs. I am happy to have earned an active seat on the National Honor Society. I like that they have an SAT class that runs the whole school year to prepare you for the SAT exams. They offer AP classes for college credit.
I am very impressed with the teachers' teaching style. They care about the students. I am fortunate to be on a college prepatory track and I feel confident that this school will allow me to be very well prepared for my future. The school is also physically big, with 3 floors and an annex to a 2nd building with 2 floors. So I get good exercise on a daily basis.

- Rating 3.88 out of 5 85 reviews
Senior: I am currently a senior at River Rouge High School. At Rouge, I achieved many goals, developed a good high school career, and faced a variety of obstacles.
I achieved a goal recently that made me feel accomplished. This goal was passing my segment two driving class. They provide segment’s one and two at Rouge. I contributed a lot into completing this goal with help from my instructor there.
My high school career has been simple. At Rouge, I have made many new relationships. I gained trustworthy friends and became really close with my teachers. Each and everyone one of my them helped me to grow and succeed.
Lastly, I faced many different obstacles. One recent obstacle I faced was about my SAT. To help get through this obstacle, I made it a priority to retake it. With help from the teachers at school I started studying on khan Academy. When school started back, the college advisor at Rouge registered me with a fee waiver so I could take it again.

Ecorse Community High School
- Ecorse Public Schools, MI
- Rating 3.31 out of 5 52 reviews
Alum: What I liked about attending ecorse community high school is the teachers and how it was more of a family environment. I graduated from ecorse high in 2006 and I now I attend ashford university online, although ecorse did not get me prepared for college the first time, it actually did teach me a lot about a close knit community which is what I use to get when I went to ecorse. I also learned about computer drafting and one of the reasons I want to become a teacher and am now pursuing a career in education. The only thing holding me back for next semester is the lack of funding from financial aid which is why I am seeking scholarships so that I can pursue my degree and do what I am passionate about.
