Licking Valley High School
Senior: In the hills of Newark, Ohio, Licking Valley High School is a very good school in the area. It is filled with teachers who care about the students, students who are academically and sports wise, very good, and a facility that is amazing. The only thing that Licking Valley lacks is college readiness. About 3 years ago, Licking Valley switched to standard based grading, this grading style allows students to re-do the assignment as many times as they need, extended deadlines, and honestly, a style that is not preparing the students of Licking Valley for the "one try" in college.
