Gordo Elementary School
Parent: The staff at Gordo elementary school are very involved with each and every student that is enrolled there. The faculty and staff always have plays, contests, school parties and beauty walks. I live in Carrollton, Alabama which is a small town, where everybody knows everybody. This elementary school and high school is connected, but they are all like family. The students, faculty and staff all have a deep love for each other. The security there is unbelievable, they make sure their students are protected. There is one way in and one way out and when you walk in the front door, you are stopped as you walk by the office. This isn't the only good thing about Gordo elementary school, the best thing is the academics. Everyone of those teachers teach those children with the best of their ability plus some. When these kids enter high school these kids are ready to learn more. The teachers makes learning fun.
