Massaponax High School
Senior: Massaponax High School is arguably the best high school in the Spotsylvania County Public School district. This takes into account the prestige of academic difficulty as well as the extracurriculars such as the numerous clubs, sports, and fine arts departments. Massaponax is home to Virginia state champions for theater, debate, various sports, and even band, chorus, and orchestra. Additionally, the teachers at the school truly care for their students, and serve people with a huge range of backgrounds; this range extends from those who are advancing quickly all the way to those who need more help. Before the 2019-2020 school year, Massaponax restaffed their administration, giving way to one of the greatest transformations ever seen by the school. The renewed counseling department is now a more open and safe space for students to share their concerns and receive personalized assistance. The main office similarly has been since filled with many smiling faces.
