Highland Elementary School
#710 Best Public Elementary Schools in Pennsylvania
Parent: My child has been going to Highland Elementary since Kindergarten, and is now in 3rd grade there. The teacher's and the rest of the school staff that my child and / or myself have had to work with ...all have been wonderful. I just wish there were more after school activities for children that are not as athletic as most kids are. More things that have to do with art, building / creating. Yoga for kids, martial arts of sort were all kids of all abilities can benefit from. Also... something like girls on the run.....that isn't restricted to just females being able to join.. so that all kids that might not be good at a sport, but like to run can join. All kids should be able to feel good about themselves! Other than that ..Highland Elementary is an Excellent school!!!!
