High School Senior: I have had a very positive experience so far. Because of a traumatic event that happened to my mom when I was in 5th grade, I began to suffer from panic attacks. Every year after that, my new team of teachers where all made aware and they had team meetings on how to help me get through and cope and they made every resource available to me. I can't really remember any teacher that I didn't feel comfortable approaching and talking to. I am also a completive diver and when I made it to the Sectional and State meets, I was very humbled when I saw teachers, coaches, the athletic director and even the school superintendent show up to support me! Recently I suffered a concussion and all my teachers gave me extra time and help in catching up on my missed work. I believe the teachers know all the students and care about their success. They are very involved in the classroom and in our clubs, and they support our academic and athletic accomplishments. I've had a great 3 years and I look forward to my final senior year!

Lyons Senior High School
#545 Best Public High Schools in New York
- Lyons Central School District, NY
- Rating 3.29 out of 5 24 reviews
Senior: I’ve grown up in Lyons! We’re a small town where everyone pretty much knows everyone, which brings both benefits and struggles. For example, I’ve an athlete and any team I’m a member of has this close-knit bond that I feel like you wouldn’t get anywhere else. Although with this, sometimes we don’t have enough interest in a sport to support a team, which is unfortunate.

Sodus Jr./Sr. High School
- Sodus Central School District, NY
- Rating 3.51 out of 5 59 reviews
Alum: Sodus is an incredible school with great staff. All of the staff care about your education and strive to help you succeed. The atmosphere isn't always the greatest but that does not have to do with the school, rather, the people in it. However, the school has gotten better with dealing with misbehaving kids. The food is hard to judge because I always made my lunch but I did hear from people that some of the meals were very good!

North Rose-Wolcott High School
- North Rose-Wolcott Central School District, NY
- Rating 3.48 out of 5 50 reviews
Senior: The staff and students here have a lot of school spirit, and have many school-wide and community events to join the area together. There are always renovations to better the school, most notably the locker rooms which look amazing! The school has many opportunities for its students, and tries its best to make all students feel included. They also have an over-summer program for students, where the staff are able to take their interests and make a class to include the students in if the students are interested as well. Overall, the staff are personable and have a sense of community about them, and this attitude shows through in the students.
