Middle School Student: I am a student at Hampton Academy and personally I enjoy school and my teachers. They make my learning experience fun and enjoyable. The school itself is undergoing major renovations which should be completed in the fall. The renovations will make the school an even better place for your child to learn. Junior: As a junior, I’ve gotten to see the vast majority of what Winnacunnet has to offer. I love it here. It’s very easy to find an educational track that’s right for you. My only complaint is that it’s very difficult to get disability support. I went through a six month process of applying for a 504 plan (for severe ADD and GAD) to be told my grades were too good to qualify. Other than that unfortunate occurrence; my experience at Winnacunnet has been wonderful. Senior: What I liked about my experience at Whittier Tech is that the teachers were generally always great and helpful throughout the whole 4 years. I enjoyed going through all exploratory technical programs and learned a lot from my time here. You choose a specific technical program to go into and it's great to have backup skills in that trade in the real world. I made very good lifelong friends and a partner which I will always be grateful to Whittier Tech for. Overall I had a great time and recommend this school to anyone, not just people who wish to go into technical programs. It will be very worthwhile whether you're fully enrolled for 4 years or choose to do night school. I learned information from going to this school that will stay relevant throughout my whole life.... Parent: This school is actually grades 6-12. During Covid closings and management in the public school district, we opted to move to GBCS. Wow! We should have done it much sooner. Great school, outstanding staff and teachers across the board, and the project based learning approach vs core curriculum has been a refreshing change. Parent: GBeCS changed our children’s social, academic, personal, and home lives for the better! These changes have been so dramatic that we have been told by friends, family, and previous teachers how impressed they are with what this school has been able to do. Our children love going to school since starting at GBeCS. They adore their teachers and their classmates and can’t wait to share all they’ve learned each day.
