Sophomore: Good school, very accepting community. The way they teach and involve students in discussions is very good for taking in information and learning important information. The curriculum, although less complex, allows for space for other time, consuming things in students lives. Such as sports, social life, are many other things. classes involving math and science are very hands on, allowing students hands-on experience with things that they may choose to pursue it in life. In certain cases, such as myself, biology is a large part of the science aspect of class, allowing practice for things like lab reports and observational skills, as well, as practice with tools that will be used waiter in wife, such as a microscope, pipettes, and different methods of transferring DNA samples or bacterial samples for experimentation. Parent: I have 3 kids. 2 went to Medfield and my son is my 3rd. My son has Social Skill issues, and we had a hard time last year with labels of ADHD. BUT, For Fallbrook, the school, & faculty, I give 5 stars (If My child was an angel). I took 1 star away for labeling ADHD at age 6! ADHD is a dr’s diagnose. These are small kids going to school for the first time & in my honest opinion every issue I’ve had since K, ( My son is now in 2nd) has been attended to, not only 1-on-1 but with added support of the District. There are Special programs for kids that need it, lots of events and fun fairs. The principle is perfect for an elementary school even when I was upset he never changed his “positive” ways. Im glad my son is attending this school. He has an AWESOME teacher this year. I would Recommend Fallbrook Elementary to anyone that would ask.... Read 1 review

Alum: Much like any other high school, Leominster CTEi was full of drama between students. On the other hand, I enjoyed concert and marching band for all four years of my time there. I dedicated a good amount of time to the band and we went to Disney World twice for performance during my time at the school. My teachers tended to be understanding and they were very helpful. Senior: My experience at Leominster High School was great! They are many activities abs clubs that you can be a part of. I feel that Leominster High School is pretty diverse in population so you can find your own niche of people. I would recommend to take honors or AP courses as they help you find meaningful teachers and will help you with your future decisions. One thing I wished they could improve upon is the college support that students receive. As students you have to seek out different resources or have to advocate for yourself rather than them giving students the information which can leave some kids severely behind in the college process. Junior: As a current junior in high school, my experience at Fitchburg High hasn't been anything but superb. I have grown up within this schooling district and although there are many flaws that I and others can speak on, I feel that these flaws make Fitchburg High unique. As a present student within the district, it is my and other students' jobs to change those things if we want to make things better for future students such as bringing in more diverse staff and curricula which has been one of my main goals thus far. Nonetheless, I have experienced and gained so many opportunities at these schools that I am overwhelmingly blessed to say I have had the chance to be a part of, and I can't wait to further my academic, athletic, and occupational journey here. Alum: Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School is awesome. Four years ago when I applied I wasn't 100% sure I wanted to attend but it ended up being the best decision. The academics are rigorous. You have to work hard because you only attend academic classes every other week because you go to your shop the alternate week. The shops are all amazing and very competitive to get into. During your Freshman year you do 5 months of exploratory in which you get to spend a week in a different shop up to 12 that you listed for preferences. Later that year you are placed in one of the shops you ranked based on your scores from that shop week. That is the shop you will be in for the rest of your time there so you are able to form good relationships with your teachers and classmates. My health occupation friends are my closest friends I made at school. Monty Tech also offers great sports and clubs for you to be a part of.
