Alum: I had been in the WWP school district ever since I was in fifth grade so by the time I had graduated I had gotten a pretty good idea of how it works. One thing I will like to point out is that this school district makes you completely prepared for any education you will have beyond your high school degree. The reason why is because throughout high school for most of the stem classes, especially science, the teachers only lecture and if this type of learning doesn’t work for you, you learn how to self-study. Another aspect is the “no walls” characteristic of the school. While most might see this as annoying due to the noise, you slowly learn how to concentrate and focus with noise and disturbance which will be very helpful later on. Overall my experience with the school was pretty well because while it had its negatives such as the competitiveness, it also has many positives such as the extracurricular and school spirit.... Sophomore: High School North is an amazing school with wonderful facilities and education that prepares students for college. I love the students and resources here, however, there is a lot competition amongst students, making it a competitive environment. Some teachers want you to succeed, but others give you a hard time and don't want to put more effort in helping you learn. The food here is average and the sport teams are really good for individual sports, whereas team sports are not as good. This school has amazing culture and diversity, but there is always room for more diversity. One of the things I would like to see improved is the teachers themselves as some teachers put effort in teaching you, but others just expect you to know everything and you just end up learning the whole course on your own. To conclude, I completely recommend this school to anyone who isn't shy of working hard and putting in effort, because this school will prepare you for college and is full of great resources!... Alum: I attended Princeton Charter School from Kindergarten all the way through 8th grade. It was a great experience, and I will really miss the school. Academically, PCS is one of the best elementary/middle schools out there. They have exceptionally strong Math and Language departments. However, the one of the best parts about this school are the teachers. They truly care about the students and push each and every one of them to be successful. There's also a strong community supporting the students. Some of my favorite Charter memories come from the various Picnics, Carnivals, and Field Days we did. Middle School Student: Teachers are pretty good not excellent. But parents are very, very intent on their kids grades and it reflects in the CMS Student Body. Middle School Student: I liked how nice and cool the teachers were and that my mom worked there so they let me see her anytime I wanted for the most part. Parent: Our child is at Riverside School as part of the autistic program. It is a great program and you don't have to live near Riverside to participate. In fact we live in Littlebrook, which our kids love because we can walk to town, Littlebrook School, Witherspoon and Princeton High and not have to cross Nassau. Both elementary schools are outstanding for different reasons but we wouldn't trade living in Littlebrook for any other part of town due to its nearness to downtown and town schools.... Senior: I had a great experience at MCTS! The teachers were all highly accomplished and were able to effectively teach the students. Although AP classes were not offered, students are able to take dual enrollment classes to a much greater degree than any other public school, with several students graduating with enough credits to have an associate's degree before even leaving high school. The small school setting allows you to make close bonds with other students and is highly beneficial when it comes to competition. Parent: All 3 of my children have had the privileged of starting their academic life in this school. The teachers and staff are amazing - helpful, kind, smart, resourceful, creative and loving. They respond so positively to not only their student but the parents as well. Because the student-to-teacher ratio is low, there is more individualized learning opportunities. Those students that need more guidance AND those that need more academic challenges are both given equal attention. Senior: The teachers really love their jobs and are passionate about what they're teaching. They made high school fun, which a lot of people don't consider a fun time period. In addition to this, the school offers a lot of resources and preparation for the "real world." You can get loads of scholarship possibilities, internships, jobs, and even college credit! Senior: My experience at Foundation Academies has been good throughout the 4 years I have been there. Transitioning from a public school into a charter school was a huge step for me. Foundation definietly puts the kids in front of them. The teachers try their best to provide help for the students even if it's tutoring or extra curriculum activities outside of school. The high school campus of Foundation prepares their scholars begining their freshman year until their senior year.
