Senior: Lincoln High School is like any other little town school, you’re close to everything around you and everyone eventually gets to know you. The teachers within the school are fabulous and always spend their time trying to help you and better your chances with each year moving forward. Some say the school is too small or we don’t have enough people to fulfill any clubs or a few sports, but we still find ways to make them great even with the people we have. The whole building is connected to one another as you have the gym and music side of the building connected to the rest of the classrooms and cafeteria in the main building which is great with our travel around the school. Our school also offers a pathway across our bridge which is elevated off the ground to quickly get from the top floors to the other building which offers a unique route that not many schools have. Senior: My teachers from Lcctc have been phenomenal. they have taught me much more than teachers at my home school. They have unique ways of teaching to make sure their material gets through to you, if one is not grasping it for any reason they go out of their way to make sure they understand it. I've had minimal issues with the teachers and staff here, they take great care of their students when it comes to preparing them for the real world, making sure they're safe and comfortable, and when one is having personal issues not only do they take action but they are empathetic as a teacher and just as a normal human being. The shops are great as well. They are simulated to be as close to the real world work environments as possible. We go through various real life tests and get as prepared as possible for what we would like to do in life. Parent: North Side is no longer K-5th, it's only K-2nd for the entire district. The teachers are wonderful. Curriculum is on point. I'm underwhelmed with the parent involvement and PTO. Also, funding is somewhat low, but they seem to make best use of what they have. They do push a lot of pride of the school and district. Generally the atmosphere is positive.... Read 1 review
