Waverly High School
#546 Best Public High Schools in New York
- Waverly Central School District, NY

High School Senior: This school definitely is one of the best schools around. The school works hard to impress the students and to make sure students are driven to come back the next day. Some students could use a little more and stronger disciplinary actions. But overall, the school is really good at maintaining the healthy and safe school environment. Which is the biggest thing anyone as a student, friend, or parent could ever ask for. The school is unique when it comes to sporting events. Our fan's pride gets so enormous and loud, it makes it just as much better to be a wolverine. Also, this school is so supportive and very diverse when it comes to the student's ways of life. Definitely a small town, but with a good heart.

Sophomore: I love Spencer-Van Etten High School. It is a small school, which allows you to personally know your teachers and get 1 on 1 help from them. There is rarely any bullying because everyone knows everyone. Students are very nice and helpful to other students, even ones that are younger. We do a lot of community service throughout our village and nearby cities. We are very well known within our sports, clubs, and academics. I would recommend this school for anyone that lives near Spencer, New York.
