Parent: Small school. All students are provided with their own notebook. they have a chance to present their performance or learning results in front of the entire school through a program called Morning Meeting once a week, most students get this opportunity very often and stand in front of them, and there is a great advantage that they can always present all of them evenly without leaning towards specific students. Parents who worry about the small number of students do not need to do so because they are connected to libraries, firefighters, PTAs, and school events are scheduled every week, providing children with opportunities for a variety of activities. The school services so great for this kind of difficult child. The school has so many good things that it is hard to list all the good things.

Alum: It wasn’t the best. But not the worst. I had lots of fun. The teachers were so sweet. Especially my senior year English teacher. She was the absolute best. We have something called an international feast and that was great because it got together so many different cultures and people in area lots of yummy food from all over the place but it’s just so much fun and I wish I can redo that. My favorite part was asking about March was so much fun and getting everyone including making everyone feel welcome and part of the community was just amazing.

Senior: Overall my experience at WHB Senior HS has been alright. I love my teachers, I think they are very well-versed in their subject areas and had not only a lot to teach me about academics, but also about myself. Teachers genuinely care about the students and are willing to help them even if it is during after-hours. The student body however was extremely harsh to each other, and it was not a very accepting environment. They are very cliquey and I believe a lot can be done form younger ages to help create a more inclusive environment. There were a lot of extra-curricular opportunities, however sports was the most praised. Not being on the sports teams was a huge barrier for me, and it felt as though I was insignificant if I wasn't athletic. Many other students, however, felt this as well and we created our own-non-sports community. WHBHS is a great learning environment, and I had a fairly average and enjoyable experience.

Hampton Bays High School
#271 Best Public High Schools in New York

Senior: Hampton Bays High School has been my comfort since day 1. I'm a proud student representing the Hampton Bays High School. My experience at my school has been amazing. I have connected with the teachers to a greater extent and even on a personal level. They are the most funny and enjoyable people to talk to as they also strive to give us the best education we can receive. On the other hand, I believe that the school cafeteria lunch should be modified a bit because the food doesn't have a taste. I would like to see this change so more of us can have the opportunity to have somewhat decent food.

Senior: I loved my experience at Pierson High School. It's a great small school with a feel of a private school . Lot's of individual attention. Fantastic teachers and a sense of community. There is something for everyone. I really enjoyed being involved in the theatre department. I did all of the school plays. The school also is very big on sports and community events. I appreciated the small class sizes, it provided for a lot of individual guidance for the students.

Parent: The teachers are awesome! They care about the students and want to see them excel. While there have been some highs challenges, overall the Riverhead High School is a great school for students who want to learn and be academically challenged. The school has many AP classes that students can take and many sports options. Many clubs and activities to choose from. The music department is also wonderful. I believe my son has received a great education. The students get out what they put in. If they want to succeed then they will.

#564 Best Public High Schools in New York
- Bridgehampton Union Free School District, NY
- PK, K-12
- Rating 3.65 out of 5 17 reviews
Senior: Although it is quite a small school, Bridgehampton is an environment where all students can excel. There is a student to teacher ratio that allows all students to have great communication with those that teach them various subjects. I do wish there were more clubs available but due to our small size, it's quite understandable why we lack in this area.
