Senior: I loved all the great students and the access to great resources. Most teachers were prepared and planned ahead for each class. I found the library a wonderful, stress free place to study or hang out with friends. One aspect I did not enjoy about my school were that backpacks were not allowed in classrooms. Therefore making it difficult to carry all my textbooks around from class to class. There several clubs to choose from, keeping me busy everyday after school!

Alum: My experience at York High School helped me realize how important it is to push yourself. The teachers and staff are understanding and supportive. Some teachers are sports coaches, which is creates a stronger relationship with the students as well as the athletes. The sports programs are great. The music program is also very good. York High School is a small school which means almost everyone knows each other. This allows for people to look out for each other. The addition of the auditorium created a lot more opportunities for the students as well as the community. There were many more guest speakers and school plays along with other activities that brought the student body together. I enjoyed my time there.
