Senior: My experience at Silsbee High School has been fairly good. I am very grateful for the unique programs my school has offered me. I have taken AVID, a college preparation course for four years, and will graduate with an associates degree since I have also taken dual credit college courses through the Early College High School program. The teachers and administrators are very kind, and I feel they genuinely want to make my school the best it can be. If I could change anything, I would shift my school’s focus away from sports, to other deserving areas I feel get no attention. For example, when one of our sports teams accomplishes something, it is posted on all of the school’s social media pages, but when art students place in statewide competitions it goes unrecognized.

Senior: Spurger High School is a wonderful school. Its like everyone knows everyone. Were all friends. Its a small community so we all get along great, like any other school we do have drama every now and then. The teachers and staff are outstanding. The teachers make sure they do what they can to help their students out. The staff are super friendly and make sure they are there if we ever need them. No ones treated unfairly. The food could be a bit better though. I feel like Im going to get far in life, thanks to all the work from Spurger ISD. Sports are also amazing. I have a kid, whose about to be 2 and they still help me work hard for softball and volleyball. This school is amazing!
