Senior: Penney High is your typical small town high school. Friday night football games are the highlight of the weeks during the fall and when basketball comes around, the gyms are packed full. Penney High is all about sports and involvement in activities but at the same time, there is not a teacher here that does not push you to do your best and go above and beyond to see you accomplish tasks. As a whole, many students take their academics very seriously and want to strive in all of their classes. At Penney, it can be easy to get caught up in the sports and activities that are going on but there are so many different things to be a part of. If I could change one thing about Penney High, it would be to get more diversity and school culture. There are so many groups they only talk to each other and do not go out of their comfort zones (including myself) to meet new people.

Alum: I love this school! It is very diverse and full of inspiring teachers and pretty good food. The school spirit was magnificent. I would like to see some new and interesting classes other than the generic ones.

Senior: My experience at this school has been positive, but there are several things i would change. One of the main things that I love about my school would be the size. We only have about 80 kids in our high school. This is nice because we get a lot of one-on-one time with the teachers. It's a lot easier to ask questions, and you gain a lot of close relationships along the way. Another thing I admire about my school, is how much spirit we have. The students and teachers get really pumped up for anything we do. We have a great support system. There are some things I dislike. We either get a small salad, or a tray of whatever the cooks choose. It is a very small amount. Another thing I dislike is that we don't have as many opportunities as bigger schools do. We have a limited about of sports and clubs.
