Sophomore: RCA is a great place to go to school. I have never met a school that's been as inclusive and inviting as RCA. The teachers are great and the teachers listen and take into account the suggestions of the students who go there. RCA is truly the best school I've been to so far. I've been to 7 schools.... Other: I attended 4 different High Schools and did terrible at every one except the Alt. The alternative was the best school for helping students that are not able to attend normal high school including students with disabilities, to pregnancies! Senior: I am very passionate about Homer Flex High School because it offers a lifeline to students facing challenging circumstances, whether in their education or life outside of school. It provides them with a fair opportunity to pursue their dreams and not be hindered by their current situations. I admire how any student can come here and find success in their academics and post-secondary planning. If I were to voice a concern, it would be related to the school's funding. Homer Flex operates on a tight budget, limiting its ability to offer a broader range of programs, including creative arts classes such as construction, shop, welding, and ceramics, which are more commonly found in traditional high schools. However, it's important to note that most students come to Homer Flex with a specific purpose in mind – to earn their credits and move forward in life.
