Parent: As a parent, I have been very please with the experience my daughter has had overall. She is an IB pathway, honors and TAG (gifted and talented) student and a 4 year Varsity Athlete. She has had to work very hard, as we discovered during her journey she had some processing issues (ADHD, ANXIETY and OCD)
Through our partnership with teachers and staff, we were able to put the right plan in play that gave her the same opportunity to success as all of her peers. What she has learned from the obstacles will serve her well for her next steps in life. She will be studying nursing at an out of state University and we couldn't be more excited for her next steps. We know she is equipped for success thanks to our collaboration with RIverwood!

Parent: A wonderful, community based school with caring teachers, a broad spectrum of students, and above average parent involvement. We initially thought we'd be going the private school route, but after several visits we decided to give Spalding Drive a chance. Our daughter has loved it. The school has gone out of its way to provide a very individualized learning experience for her.

Senior: My high school experience was pretty positive. When I needed help their was always a teacher or administrator that I felt could help solve my problem. My teachers answered all my questions and took time out of their busy schedules to give me the extra help I needed to grow into a phenomenal student. I never felt rushed or pressured to learn the material at a certain rate or on a timed schedule, it was more about me learning the information. On the social side of things I did not go to the local middle school, so I didn't know anyone when I first arrived my freshman year. I soon found out that this did not matter because I was welcomed with open arms. It turned out to be the beginning of life long friendships and memories that I will forever cherish from going to football games and attending our schools annual end of the year play, I can say I truly enjoyed my time at North Springs!

Parent: This school is very involved with the parents and students. They partake in the community and do great activities for the kids. I was a little bit of a Pain in the butt parent with some pain in the butt kids but Ms. Goggins (Principal) and Ms. Haltrecht (Asst. Principal) and the counselors, just all the administrative staff was ALWAYS fully supportive of me even when I was UGLY. They have NEVER disrespected me and my views. Ms. Goggins is a realist who completely understands where I was coming from and how she could help me. She always was there and that one on one care is hard to find especially from a Principal. Thanks Ms Goggins and all the teachers we had! Sincerely, The Lansdown Family!

Works Here: I love the diversity at Sandy Springs Middle school. It shows within the student body, athletic team, and the staff. Once employed, I was welcomed with open arms, my mistakes were easily corrected by constructive criticisms, and over all the climate and cultural has been set and followed on a daily basis.

Senior: The teachers at Ridgeview really cared about the students. They gave it their all when they taught their class. Unfortunately, most of the students in the “on level”classes did not care about school. Most of the class time was spent dealing with disruptive students. The music departments were incredible, as well as the sports programs.

Parent: Our sons have attended TMSA for years and have had a stellar experience. What sets TMSA apart, for me, is the culture (based on 8 Core Values), academic rigor and strong teachers, extracurricular offerings, and probably most of all - the parental involvement. That part makes it feel like a family, which is a great learning environment for kids.

Parent: I prefer this school because it has a private school setting .It's very organize school and seem to have overall good children. I like to see children being children! You don't see too many that look like they're in gangs or disrespectful their clothes are neat and not hanging off their behinds. At this particular School everyone is organized and seem to be doing well. Teachers and staff are very helpful and nice.

Alum: Independence High School is a credit recovery school. It is not your average high school. At this school I was able to move towards earning the credits that I missed at my home school which was Roswell High School. Independence High School is a great school. The teachers at this school are very helpful and assuring. They had help sessions and let you retake tests that you did not do well on. The classes are easy to keep up with and the work load is not much at all. My experience at Independence high school prepared me for the real world because they did not offer school buses as an option for transportation. You had to take public transportation, have a parent drive you or drive yourself. I had to rely on public transportation which had its pros and cons. Even though our school did not any team sports, we did have clubs and great school spirit. I was apart of the Key Club. I had a phenomenal time at this school.

Alum: I started from middle school thru high school; enjoyed my class mates, teachers, and Administrators. They taught well and gave great input about my education. It would have been great if our school had it’s own sports facilities, but they made it happen with rented facilities. I really enjoyed my Jr and HS basketball experience; was coached by several caring and knowledgeable coaches. Hornets for life!

Alum: McClarin High was a breath of fresh air from all the other public schools i went to. If it wasn't for this school I wouldn't have graduated on time. Frank McClarin is a alternative school that'll help get your high school credits back on the right track. In order to gain entry to the school you would have to do an essay on why you want to enroll . Afterwards everything is a breeze to gain your high school education. The most efficient option is the keystone packets, which is literally doing a packet of an entire subject! The teachers are all nice and it's pretty obvious they really want you to graduate and succeed.The school was a majority about education but I hear now they have their own sport teams and extracurricular activities. In conclusion McClarin is great and would recommend it to any and every student, especially if your wanting to graduate a little early. I'm a proud alumni of Frank McClarin and would encourage you to do the same!

Senior: Nora is a wonderful school that prioritizes student health and well being. Teachers genuinely care about how students are doing and are flexible in accommodating people's needs. They also teach classes they are passionate about. Grades are based on personal growth rather than comparative performance, and lots of support is available so that students are met where they're at. My pronouns are respected, and everyone is made to feel welcome. I feel like I finally got to have a normal high school experience that I was never able to have at my old school. College prep has also been so amazing, not overly stressful or confusing with lots of help along the way.
