Alum: Valders is very small, so its very easy to get to know all the teachers and classmates. There are very personal relationships formed between students of any age, and even between teacher and student. Many of the teacher make as much time as they can for their students in order to help the ones that are struggling. A lot of the teachers were very good at answering questions in a way that didn't make the student feel stupid or completely lost. If there was one thing about Valders that I would change, I would make more advanced courses. There are few AP level courses, which makes sense for the smaller number of students that go there, but upper level students often lack the stimulation needed and get bored easily by classes that are too easy for them.
