Parent: The Greene School is located in West Greenwich, RI and has a beautiful campus with 70 acres. This school has hiking trails as well as a rock climbing wall. It offers a challenging academic curriculum that keeps their students engaged in learning. The students attend a daily "crew" that allows them to develop community building skills as well as build relationships with others. The teachers and staff at TGS are amazing and are always offering to help any student. My son attends this school has never been happier. The Greene School has helped him grow as a student as well as an individual. I am so thankful that he has had such a positive experience. It is in a very STEM focused district, so students who don't wish to pursue that may be more comfortable elsewhere. The town itself isn't great, but if you live in it, I recommend this school.... Senior: Chariho Highschool has been a great experience for my last four years of school. I have been a part of their Vocational Program in the Graphic Design class. I have learned a lot from this program and intend to advertise my own business one day once I am out of college. I have had some great teachers here and I like the way things are set up. Especially with Covid-19 things in play the past year, Chariho Highschool has done a great job handling the situation and letting students decide if they want to be online or back in school physically. This school has taken all the right precautions to keep everyone safe and healthy. Are there some things that could be fixed still though? Of course but they are doing the best they can for right now. I would not trade the past four years of my highschool experience to be at any other school.
