Rochambeau French International School
- Private School
- Bethesda, MD
- PK, K-12
Parent: Our two children have attended Rochambeau for seven years. We have been quite pleased overall. Our children love school, their friends and have become responsible, organized, self motivated students.
Positives - Experienced, highly educated and accessible faculty, strength of the French curriculum combined with a strong English department offering a number of levels, after school clubs, numerous school sports teams, music and theatre options, diverse parent community. Most students who continue thru high school graduate fluent/proficient in three languages. Small classes compared to public schools. Fantastic school trips. Graduates receive both a US high school diploma and the French Bac. Many attend top US, French, Canadian and European universities/colleges.
Negatives: Faculty changes, not a "neighborhood" school (many students commute far), students work hard both at school and at home, may be too rigorous depending on your child.

Purcell High School
#102 Best Public High Schools in Oklahoma
- Purcell Public Schools, OK
Senior: Purcell High School is a place where everyone knows everyone and treats them like how they would want to be treated. It is a great environment that many, including me, have come and accepted and have enjoyed for the four years I have spent at this high school. I mostly spent time with the band program which I have come to call a second family. Our band director is one of the best high school band directors in the state. You'll come to love him as well as the many other teachers and workers at the school. Each and every single one of them does a tremendous amount of work to keep the school in good spirits and in a good light. Purcell High School is a great environment for kids to come a receive an education.

Wayne High School
#146 Best Public High Schools in Oklahoma
- Wayne Public Schools, OK
Senior: I have been a student at Wayne since 6th grade. While I have loved every moment during my attendance, I wish a few things were different. I love how small the school is, allowing students to have a higher one on one ratio with their teachers. The teachers do as much as they can with the materials provided, but most of our textbooks are outdated and our technology is far behind the advances of other schools. Simply because we are lacking in funds for educational expenses. Some of the faculty go out of their way to spend personal money for classroom needs when they need to be met. (These range from buying supplies for kids who can't afford it to finding new textbooks online for classes.) Though saying this, the school was recently given a grant towards buses, new football bleachers, and a new concession stand/bathroom facilities. There are no AP courses available through the school, leaving us to enroll in online classes and pay book fees. I love my school, but we need change

Lexington High School
- Lexington Public Schools, OK
Alum: I loved attending Lexington High School. Everyday was something new and exciting. The teachers and staff was willing to help you succeed in your academics as well as being very supportive. There was not one teacher who did not want to see a student fail. Lexington is a small town school, which meant meeting people and creating a new friendships was very easy. Lexington High School is place that I would highly recommend for students who are trying to find a great school to fit into.
