Senior: Thornton Township High School will show you what a good time feels like all while pushing you to be your best. I love the school spirit that everyone has there, it is so enriching and fulfilling. I love that the administration recognizes that as high school teenagers we deal with hard times in school and outside of school, so they try to ease the pain a bit. At our school we have things like pep rallies, homecoming, spirit weeks, fun days, etc. Even though they help us by trying to relax us, they also help with our academics. Thornton has multiple programs for students that need extra help with their schooling and they encourage everyone to do so. Overall my school is in a low income city but they do well with the resources they have and I love it.
