Junior: An amazing school with a ton of spirit! Three time back to back to back state basketball champions! The students are involved in many activities because it is a small school. There is a strong sense of community and everyone is friendly. There is a wide range of AP and college credit classes that are available.

Parent: Norfolk Academy provided an extraordinary educational journey for my two children, fueling their curiosity and inspiring them to explore new avenues that they might not have discovered without the incredible teachers and coaches at this school. My oldest child, who came in sixth grade, now studies engineering at an Ivy League university; he particularly loved the robotics team, as well as soccer, swimming, and crew teams. My youngest child, who is a senior at NA, came in first grade, and she has developed a passion for medicine and health, largely through the school's Global Health Fellows program and the Medical Scholars program.

Gouverneur Junior/Senior High School
- Gouverneur Central School District, NY
Senior: I enjoy the teachers and the education. They all work very hard, spending more time helping the students understand the material. The principal and leadership are very well organized and have made my senior year an enjoyable one so far. The people, obviously, are not so great. By that I mean the students. I enjoy the classes and the school itself, but not the students. The senior class is immature and enjoys whining about the tiniest of things. Few of them are concerned with studying. The teachers do the absolute best they can to engage their interests. Many of them I am very fond of. The athletics program is also great. They have diversity in many sports, and encouragement from teammates and coaches is top notch.
