Badger High School
#33 Best Public High Schools in Wisconsin
- Lake Geneva-Genoa City Union High School District, WI
- Rating 3.99 out of 5 219 reviews
Senior: Badger has some great teachers that go unnoticed. Many of the AP teachers are passionate about what they’re teaching and want us to succeed. The food is really not that bad and there are a lot of classes to choose from. There is a huge focus on sports, especially football. Badger has pretty good labs for science classes and facilities for stem and art classes.
Yet, there is a lack of diversity and a group of students who are blatantly racist🤢. When it comes to funding, I feel as though sports are more important than bathroom locks. Seriously can the women’s bathroom by the auditorium be fixed already pls!
Badger could be improved by having more resources to help students apply to college. There was little reviewing for the ACT and counselors were not great at emailing back or helping (at least the one i had).
In the end i would say that I had a good experience. Although stressful and improvements needed, i will never forget some of the friends and teachers i met.

Alum: Lots of fun electives, but not enough preparation for high school. Overall, a pretty good school! I had a good three years here, and this is saying something, because middle school usually sucks.
