Senior: At Frontier every one is connected in some way, the school is small which allows you to truly know all of your peers and teachers. Joining a club connects you further into the community and help you find true friends, sports are another way to connect with the community. Some of the most popular sports played are basketball, cross country, soccer, volleyball, and though we don’t have a football team we play with our neighboring school University. Some of the best clubs at Frontier are Key Club, Drama, Debate, Student Council, connect club, and there are much more amazing clubs started by students of the school. Frontier has such an amazing community from elementary to High school you’ll find and meet kids that share your common interest and have an amazing school year with close friends by your side, the Frontier community is close and you’ll feel that warmth for yourself as you learn leadership and make friends and strong relationships.... Senior: This high school was excellent! You created a relationship with the teachers and that was important. It helped push learning and made students more eager to learn. If you did your work and turned things in on time you wouldn’t fail, but if you wanted good grades you had to work for them. Senior: University Schools is an overall very welcoming and has a determined environment. Like all schools, there can be some improvements. Communication is always key and students are always provided with guidance from all faculty members! My time spent here was very pleasing and educational. I learned more about myself as a student and as a person! Most, if not all teachers, where ready to work with you and put you on the right path for your life. Whether they knew you or not. Being one of the smaller schools (in terms of graduating class members), the community was very tight-knit. There was more of a "family" aspect to it all. Like we were more than just peers. Senior: It a small school with great emphasis on Academics with high standards in behavior. Although this can be seen there needs to be more action when it comes to character. The school environment lacks school spirit, in school events, and any emphasis on extracurriculars. I love this school but I think it would be even better if they added more clubs and extracurriculars and more emphasis on the Athletic programs. Senior: Greeley West High School is a place filled with dedicated and caring staff that never fail to make learning a wonderful thing. The family-feel of this school is truly wonderful and, when willing, the students are the heart of the building. The activities, extracurriculars, and overall environment is great. The new building will be a step up, for sure, but the quality of learning is already top notch! Acceptance of everybody and a 100% anti-bullying policy makes the building feel safe and comforting. Although a lot of this can depend on the students coming through the building, the teachers treat every student the same; rooting for everybody and their education. The teachers are available when I need them and assist me with work when needed. I am grateful for this opportunity so that I can graduate early and start my college education 1 year early. Junior: I haven't been here long enough to really say much but from what I can see this school is good overall. There aren't many people here so it's easier to get closer to your teachers as well as the students. Something I noticed is that almost everyone is lively, but in a family kind of way. I like to describe it that everyone is comfortable enough to be themselves. Of course this school, just like any other, isn't made for everyone, but I think this school gives the students a bit more opportunities. It's more easier to get good grades, so if you are struggling or know someone that is struggling, I recommend going to this school. Though there is fights happening, and it's infamous so there will be a lot bad eyes/worry coming your way. To be honest this is the most friends I have in a long time, it's real fun to see many things, and you don't have to be outgoing to be seen as special.... Read 11 reviews
