Junior: The educators are patient and make the working environment positive, there is a nice school spirit as well. Many of the teachers are flexible and will cater the student's needs with extra help sessions, recovery and test correction opportunities. The school allows a 30 minute time period in the school day as a study hall and offers diverse activities. The school offers a large variety of courses and provides students with the all necessary amenities which make the learning experience more interactive. In addition, many extra curricular activities are offered such as clubs and sport teams. The school's campus is comfortable and easy to navigate through with multiple buildings. On the other hand the administration is not the best as there is some communication problems within the staff and from the staff to students. Parent: We just LOVE this school! Growing up going to a very high end private school I never thought we could get more out of charter school but ICSA is the best of the best! The staff and teachers here truly care about the students and the education they provide is second to none! Our daughter was ahead of the curve at her last school in California so we were looking for a language school to enhance her educational portfolio and keep her engaged in school, well ICSA did just that! Alum: Alliance prepared me for college. The teachers were nice and efficient. Especially the specialized teachers for the Legal Pathway and the Graphic Design pathway. The best thing about Alliance is how the school made the students feel connected and have a sense of community. There were dozens of opportunities to be engaged. From clubs to academic organizations, Alliance offered a well rounded high school experience. If there was one thing I would improve, it would be to add more microwaves in the cafeteria. Middle School Student: River Trail is overall a great school. Most teachers try to help us students learn as well as possible, while still letting us have fun sometimes. However, some teachers just don't know how to teach us, or set unreachable expectations. In addition, RTMS has good extracurriculars and connections (in-school extra classes), but a lack of sports. Middle School Student: I am a student at Autrey Mill. The teachers are amazing, especially the French teacher. However, there are many fights, about once a month. The food is terrible. Never buy school lunch. I am vegetarian and once I was unable to eat the nachos because the teacher refused to serve it to me without meat. The Math department offers three AP courses, AP Calculus (AB and BC) and AP Statistics. Students who take these APs at Centennial typically earn 4s and 5s on their AP Exams. The Social Studies department is home to one of the best Model UN teams in the nation. While this is an extracurricular activity, students who participate in it will gain knowledge on international affairs, which makes them more globally educated.
