Junior: I like that we have an internship class where we are able to experience a career of our interest and see hands on what that career will be like. The administration has changed a little bit but they are making it a better school with drug testing and academic privileges, such as if you have good grades then you get incentives. I would like the school policy on vaping/tobacco to change because it is not enforced as much and I would like the food to change, there is more food wasted than ate.

Senior: I love the friendly environment at Marmaton Valley. I have been at this school since 2nd grade and have loved it ever since. We are a poor school, but we do very good for what we have. The teachers and staff are supportive and friendly. Every school has their issues however. Being a small school, sometimes I wish we had more activities and clubs. This year we introduced and KAY club and I wish it would have came to our school sooner. I am enjoying being a senior though and being able to lead the others in the club. I feel Marmaton Valley has impacted my life in huge way and I will never forget it. Some kids want to leave and go to bigger schools, but I personally wouldn't trade my small school for any other school.

Senior: I appreciate how well they respond to change and are willing to work around it. They always put the kids first and what their goals are. In addition they have always pushed their students to work hard while giving us resources in hand in case we need it. Considering we are a really small school everyone is held accountable and required to do there part. The teachers do a wonderful job of teaching and helping students understand the information that is given.
