Alum: I came into PWHS in the middle of my sophomore year of high school. At first it was hard to adjust, but after joining some clubs and the track team, I was able to make friends and become more acquainted with the school culture and activities. The academics were not a rigorous as my previous school but the school is still academically oriented. I took mainly honors and AP level courses which had heavy course loads which prepared me for college. The college application instruction process was also very thorough and the advisors were very helpful. The sports team were adequate. The only thing for improvement would be diversity.... Middle School Student: It was good, the teachers were caring and they had great safety. They have a good playground and field to play with at recess. Huge gym, and the school is clean and nice. The only thing is that the bus drivers are sometimes mean and they come late.... Read 1 review

Parent: Top rated school district in Montgomery county. Awesome teachers, students, and support staff. Children are friendly. PTO very supportive, active, and provide those little extra things to enrich the life of students. Attentive administrators who are student centered. This school is a hidden gem. The diamond of Colonial School District as far as school climate. They did a fantastic job during the pandemic making children feel safe and virtual learning fun. Keep up the great work RP.... Senior: Upper Merion Area High School was a great experience for me. Everything was good, but what really made my high school career special were my teachers. Upper Merion could not do a better job hiring teachers. I feel like I've created so many genuine connections with my teachers that have helped me in and out of the classroom. Middle School Student: Colonial Middle School is a great school overall , the only things I truly did not enjoy were how they did the dances , asked for a amount of money to attend after school activities that could've did more for the students . The teachers wanted us to learn and they used different techniques to help all different students. The only thing that truly bothered me throughout my stay at the school were some of the people . Freshman: I just graduated from middle school this june so here i am reviewing my own school. The building was really nice and modern with all the open lights from outside. It provided the students a good environment to begin with. On another hand, bullying and drama took place quite often. Most of my friends and younger students had to deal with some sort of those things during their year. Also, the academic was pretty proficient. Most students excel their reading and math while participating in other activities such as sports. The teachers themselves are nice though some might be less popular than the others. Lunch, however, was not that great which is the same to the highschool's. Breaks between each class was decent enough for us to say hello to our friends when we walked by them. Middle School Student: The school is great! Some of the kids are not the best, but the teachers are great! The environment and school is really clean and comfortable. Some of the kids are leaving overexerted reviews because they don't like one teacher and are blaming and shaming the entire school for it. Senior: I love the school and the opportunity’s they have to offer. I love the family atmosphere they create all around the school. From the friends you make there and the memories you create Pickett allows for life and love to bloom. I am blessed to have been there since sixth grade and graduating from there as well and it’s thanks to that school that I’ve made it this far. Parent: I can't speak highly enough about our experience with Musselman. The staff members are incredible, especially Mrs. Fox and the principal Ms. Cole. They were so understanding and took time to accommodate our needs to better assist our child. I really liked the fact that our five year old only went to school with other kindergartners. He was able to learn the process of school as a whole with only children his age; including bus riding, purchasing lunch and even walking the halls. I felt much safer with that aspect. He was legitimately writing paragraphs and reading by the end of the year. Not only that, but there were many occassions for the children to learn from- a field trip, science fair, concerts and a prom. Huge thank you to the entire staff!... Read 1 review
