Senior: I love a lot of things about International Polytechnic High School...but not the mouthful of a name. We call it IPoly for short. The courses are designed to teach every student various useful skills, such as sewing, video editing, writing professional resumes and emails, and public speaking. IPoly is so tight-knit that you rarely ever hear even a whisper about bullying, violence, or drugs there, and all LGBTQIA+ personalities are very much accepted. The main drawback is that we lack in traditional school hype. The few clubs there aren't well-known (even to the students on campus), we need to go to a neighboring school to play in sports teams, and very few people get excited for ASB events. Also, we don't have an official cafeteria, so most students either get the free lunch provided at school or venture onto the neighboring campus of CalPoly - Pomona for lunch. This is normally a bit of an inconvenience. But, on the bright side, it gives one the chance to be on a college campus.... Read 269 reviews

Senior: As a senior at Claremont High School, I am very proud to say that I have achieved an incredible education here. The faculty and administration at Claremont ensure that every student has an equal opportunity to achieve great academic success. Counselors are very quick to attend to students who needs adjustments to their course rigor, but will also recommend classes for students whose performance exceeds their class average. Claremont is also an amazing school for anyone who would want to pursue a career in liberal studies, though the science and mathematics departments do not fall short of the quality that the fine arts and language department provide. Aside from the academic qualities of Claremont, students can also expect a very engaging social life. The tradition of upper class-men establishing a consensus of respecting one another and showing kindness has not wained since my first arrival at this school. Parent: Sycamore Elementary is a great school that focuses on liberal arts at the start of kindergarten. The schools way of creating the curriculum is based on subjects that the student pick and are tailored to fit the class each year. The grades are combined through out all grades which has proven to be helpful for our child whether she was falling behind or pushing forward in any given subject. The school puts a lot of effort in teaching diversity and multicultural learning as well. Through after school activities the students are able to take part in various clubs and activities of their choosing. Parent: My oldest daughter who is now a 6th grader has been at Oakmont since kindergarten. My son is in 4th grade and I have a three year old that will attend kinder at Oakmont. I serve as secratary on the parent faculty association and I have nothing but good things to say about this school. All the teachers and staff are extremely nice and the students and their families are amazing. With their focus on the different biomes,each grade takes fun field trips at the end of the year to round up their studies. Each student in every grade is so respectful of everyone.... Read 1 review

Senior: I've had an excellent experience at Mt. SAC Academy so far. We are offered a variety of college classes to take while still working on our high school ones, it's a little hard but definitely worth it. The emotional support from our staff and counselors is so helpful during your journey at Mt. SAC. They're always looking out for you and help is always an email away if ever needed. If there's any clubs you like but aren't available, students are always welcome to start a petition to make their own club. We also have activism clubs, volunteering, and mental health awareness. The campus is beautiful as well, always super clean. Overall, my experience was wonderful and I'd recommend it to so many dedicated high school students who are interested in getting a jump start on college credits.
