Junior: The diversity there is great. The school environment is amazing. Overall an amazing school. Dress code is very fair and inclusive. Classrooms are okay - some are extremely small. YPAS buildings definitely need updating. Athletics are pretty good too. Funding/importance is not distributed equally and can be unfair to different sports teams. Football gets a lot although at times being undeserving. Okay football team though. Dance team is ranked #1 in the world! Love the school environment and the teachers are great. Senior: Brown is the right educational experience for me. I have small classes where I feel close with both my classmates and my teachers. Classmates are extraordinarily welcoming and accepting. My teachers set aside enormous amounts of time to support me. The teachers are very accommodating and truly care for the students. As a senior, I have had many conferences regarding my college applications with teachers. They are excited for my future. Brown has a few flaws, the math department struggles. Our test scores are always lowest in that category, but it isn't just test scores that matter. By being a small school, there are small events that many find skippable. Senior: Male High School has been a great school to attend for all four years.l have learned a lot about myself and have been given resources for great opportunities to better my future. There are a lot of chances to improve your academics with helpful teachers and counselors,and there are so many courses that can challenge students and that allow students to find new interests.in addition to academics there are so many clubs for everyone to join and enjoy. My favorites were book and chess club- one of my favorite overall experiences at Male was our collective school spirit. My least favorite part about male is now crowded the school is. Middle School Student: This will be my last year attending Noe, I'm sad to say that as I love the school, with all the hardships this year has brought, the teachers are doing amazing! The after school activities are fun, in the Beta Club we organize and share the services we can to to the city and school to one another. Parent: My daughter went here after being accepted for 5th grade. She was at Middletown Elementary prior to transferring, where she wasn’t challenged in class, ever. She was and still is a straight A student. She loved Greathouse and that she felt a bit more challenged there, instead of bored racing through work. The school is clean, the administration are all kind, and the kids don’t run wild like I’ve seen in other schools. The only thing they need help on is the flow of the carpool line, updated/demo playground, and the cafeteria food is awful-but they don’t have much control over that. Although, if we are forced to pay for it unlike 95% of the other Elementary schools, it should be better selection. Some of it I wouldn’t feed my dog.... Read 4 reviews

Alum: My overall favorite grade at "JCTMS" was 8th grade because atmosphere was a lot more laid back then it was my 6th grade year. The teachers were fun and always caring about you and helpful with any life situations and/or school work. The school as a whole was to me a great traditional school and what I mean by that is that they made sure you followed the dress code , followed the attendance, and was ready to come learn everyday. Alum: My experience at Butler was great. I had no trouble making friends and getting along well with my classmates. Everyone seemed to be accepting and supportive. There are multiple teachers that I remember always being an option to go and talk to, whenever. Some things that I liked about Butler, was how involved everyone was in events and school spirit. Such as pep rallies and sports games. That was one of my favorite experiences at Butler. I always looked forward to pep rallies, even if I went home with a headache, but I've always been a die-hard sports fan so that explains it. Parent: My daughter and son both attend Audubon Traditional Elementary School and it has been the best experience ever. They are on top of their communication with parents. They ensure our kids are safe at all times. The staff is friendly and always willing to help. The school building itself is older but they've done a great job keeping up with the maintenance. Now on to their academic curriculum, it is the best by far that I've seen. They challenge their students. The children aren't just skating by, if they do not understand something or are struggling with something, we are notified immediately. We don't have to wait on report cards and progress reports. Senior: Community Montessori is a good school but it isn't the school for everyone. I believe it does well for the younger side but when you get up to the older areas, it gets a bit iffy. With all the freedom it brings, a student can either thrive in it or suffer massive consequences. I think I do okay with the freedom, even though my first year at Montessori was a bit of a learning curve I had to get over, I know some people that are failing tremendously because they have no sense of urgency due to the lack of structure. Parent: My daughter has been at LPAS for her entire elementary career. She is currently in the 5th grade and we hate to leave. If she had not gotten into LPAS I would be paying tuition for private school. The teachers are very attentive, helpful and caring. The staff is phenomenal. They all made her love school and she has learned so much and has enjoyed it. It is smaller than a traditional public high school, and their focus is on students/teens who struggle with social interactions, and also have anxiety and other learning disabilities. I have ADHD and am on the autism spectrum, and through my 2+ years here, I have found that the staff and teachers are extremely supportive of my struggles and willing to help me overcome my challenges to be a successful high school graduate.... Senior: I have been at Tapp my whole high school career it has given me and opportunity to sucked even with my child. The daycare is amazing .never will be a better one . on top of learning normal high school classes we have classes that prepared us for the work force and life after school like college,parenting and many other valuable skill. Through the years I have Never been at a school that felt like home until I came to TAPP. Senior: I really love the school. The staff are nice and the teachers are even nicer. They work hard to ensure that their students go in to the next level in their education and or life and they value personal relationships with students too. I also like how inclusive the school is, all the activities and events that happen within the school are usually student made or at least have student involvement, which I love. The reason why I only gave this school a 4/5 is because of the community within the school. It’s uncommon for a fight to break out here and there while attending this school and that’s very disheartening. It sometimes makes the environment unsafe for anyone close by. However, I do love the fact that the school is very diverse with white students being the minority.
