Alum: Columbus Alternative High School (CAHS) changed my life forever. I entered CAHS in 2013 as a intercity student who never saw to much of a future for myself. Although, by the time I graduated CAHS in 2017 I expected nothing less than excellence from myself. They offer AP and IB classes to their students for free which allowed me to earn college credits right at my own high school. CAHS was constantly taking into consideration that there are students from all over the district and teaching on a very personalized basis. The teachers and administrators put learning first and do everything they can to help you achieve your goals including college application workshops. I have nothing negative to say about CAHS besides they need a new building because the current one is very old. Oh, and no sports! Unless you play ultimate frisbee!...Read 263 Reviews

Senior: Prior to attending Centennial High School, I had a hard time fitting in at other schools. I enrolled in five different schools because I just couldn't find the right fit for me. Then, Centennial High School was the fifth and final school I enrolled at. Instantly the staff was helpful and I found my long-lasting friendships within the first week. It took about two weeks to fully get the hang of my class routes. It would have been longer without help from the kind people I was surrounded by. Academically, this school is #2 in the Columbus City School district they push you to be the best student. As for sports lovers, the variety of sports at this school is wide. There is so much you can do. For the non-sport lovers, the football games on Fridays are the best! The encouragement I have received over the past four years has motivated me exponentially and I am thankful to have gone to such a wonderful school. GO STARS!...Read 126 Reviews

Parent: At the beginning, my daughter was very hesitant to attend HB for her high school. However, during the four years, she learned a lot, met many good friends and wonderful faculty and thus became loving HB very much. HB offers rigid curriculum, an open environment with healthy competition which helps the kids better prepare for the future. The college counseling of HB is also amazing— I really appreciate the school for starting the information sharing at the very early stage— hope parents and students get prepared early!...Read 127 Reviews

Alum: Loved this school! The teachers cared about the students and taught us well. The school was always clean and the school was very welcoming to new students. My two years there was very good. I was in the cosmetology program. I had ms. Neal as my teacher, she was very hands on and friendly. She taught me so much my junior year. Our senior year was more laid back and a lot of testing and getting ready for our state boards. Overall would recommend Columbus downtown high school!...Read 109 Reviews

Senior: I'm currently writing this as a senior. Four years ago when I started at this school I was a nervous wreck, but who wasn't? One reason was because of my physical disability. However, within my first couple of weeks, my worries and stress were dispersed! The staff were welcoming and accommodating. Even better, the teachers are fantastic! Although there are a few bad apples in the bunch, the majority are kind and excited to teach! This school is wonderful and you'd be lucky to attend!...Read 157 Reviews

Senior: Overall I think Eastmoor Academy is a great school. Being the home of a Biomedical Sciences pathway program inspired me to enter the biology major in college. When I attended Eastmoor i experienced a variety of different students and teachers. Diversity was celebrated in ways of talent shows, plays, academic achievement ceremonies and many more. The part that I loved the most at Eastmoor were the loving staff members. They treated you like their own children, if you needed any type of help there were multiple staff members who could help you. There was never a day where a teacher didn't check up on me to make sure i'm on my "A game". I was overall a loving and supporting environment that made sure you succeeded...Read 152 Reviews
