Senior: The AGBU Alex & Marie Manoogian School is like a home to me. All of the teachers are nothing different from my parents. The school staff is extremely friendly and continues to bring an exceptional education to students attending like myself. I've learned so much from attending the school for over 10 years. Senior: Cass has been a great high school! Our schools motto is cass tech number one second to none ! We live up to that with our statistics, in test scores, gpas, college acceptances, scholarship money and etc. cass tech does so much for its students and we are forever grateful. We have guest speakers who love to come and show support. Guest speakers have included rapper big Sean, President council Mary sheiffield and so many more people. We also have multi-cultural days and other events such as students versus teachers and I think this really helps the engagement of the students. aside from that we have teachers who actually teach and we have curriculums. My curriculum is marketing so I have learned so much about entrepreneurship, how to be a boss, and financial literacy which is so helpful in the real world. Senior: It was a pretty good school. I think that some of the rules are absolutely ridiculous. If you’re gonna force kids to be in a place for 8 hours a day 5 days a week at least make it a place they sort of want to go to. There is no reason I should dread having to get up every morning. Also, school being that early is so infuriating. But the staff are amazing. I love most of them and will miss them so much when I graduate. Junior: Renaissance High School has good qualities, but like every other school, it could use improvement in certain areas. I will talk about things that I personally wished would change, and to end this review on a positive note, I will discuss the school's negatives first. Personally, I feel that Renaissance's school lunches were lacking in amount and nutritional value. I also disliked that although Covid-19 took a year of in-person learning from us, we were still required to complete 200 hours of community service. These criticisms are my personal opinion and may come off as trivial. What I like about Renaissance is that overall, the teachers are pretty good. Even the teachers that don't teach well have redeeming qualities such as likable personalities. Another good quality: I didn't realize how grateful I should be that this school prepared me for college readiness till I realized that many high schools offer little to no help with these matters at all.... Alum: I graduated from Henry Ford Academy in 2007 amongst the top students in my class. This school was everything I needed from an education system under a college prep program. The resources were amazing and seemed unlimited. And I must say, going to school in a historic site (Henry Ford Museum/Greenfield Village) was quite amazing. There were lessons to be learned all over the place. The faculty and staff were very inclusive and made sure to give each student the same opportunity to excel. If I could go to a college modeled around the curriculum, education, and experience of Henry Ford Academy, i’d sign up in a heartbeat! All year mesmerizing scenery is also available. Parent: My child has been going to this school for 7 years. He started in Preschool when we switched from a different preschool where there were nothing but problems. We were delighted at the difference! He is now in 5th grade and I couldn't be happier with the school. Last year he was diagnosed with High functioning autism and multiple other diagnosis. The staff, tearchers and head of school all came together to work on a plan to make sure he gets all the help he needs in school. He had definitely been troublesome in school, and the was the behavior was handled was very appropriate and appreciative. If he acted out I would get a phone call and we would work on a plan for his behaviors. Since working with the staff, and now more aware of his abilities, we have been able to work out a plan and he no longer acts out in school. I know I picked the right school for him! Middle School Student: Very good school I would highly recommend. The only big big problem is that the food is absolute garbage. If you come here, PLEASE try to get a new lunch program because the food really needs to be changed. Also, our sports teams are really good, the issue is that they only have a few sports (volleyball and basketball). They need to have more clubs. The clubs that they do have almost all meet on Thursday for some reason. Overall, come here.... Read 3 reviews

Senior: I have been a part of Cesar Chavez since Kindergarten and I always liked the school. Finishing 8th grade, I was given the opportunity to change schools and I was so close to submitting an application to a different High School. After much consideration, I realized Cesar Chavez is my home. The staff is incredibly helpful and easy to get along with. Teachers are patient, kind, helpful, understanding, and more. Our grade level mentors are always there to inspire us to do better and constantly giving us the resources that are needed for our classes, work, or even our future.
