Alum: Boise high overall is a great school. The teachers and staff are all wonderful, and the classes and opportunities are quite varied with expansive options and fields of interests. The club and social scene is also really great, and a good way to meet people and get involved. We also have a variety of sports programs for all different levels and good facilities for use in these areas. The school and student council also work in conjunction to host a variety of events and engagements throughout the year, such as dances and other such activities. Football, baseball, soccer, and other games are frequent, and the student section always shows up with spirit and numbers. Overall everyone at the school is really nice, welcoming, and understanding. The kids are very passionate, smart, and kind, and the teachers and staff are all experienced, understanding and the absolute sweetest. Parent: We are in our 10th year at Sage and have nothing but wonderful things to say about it. We started in kindergarten, and their IB program provides so much hands-on inquiry-based learning to make school fun for young learners. The teachers are all amazing. There is no school on Fridays, giving students a chance to recoup or catch up on schoolwork, and the teachers and staff have a full day each week to collaborate, prep, and learn. Their middle school and high school programs are rigorous but fair, and do a wonderful job preparing our kids for college, career, and just life in general! Freshman: As a student of Victory Middle School for 3 years, and I can honestly say that I LOVED my experience. The teachers aren't afraid to get close to their students and are always willing to help out. They also have many different opportunities for students to help them grow. There are classes to both help you improve when you struggle, as well as advanced and honors classes to challenge you and prepare you for not just high school, but college. Plus, the music courses are so fun. I was in choir for 3 years and my teacher was supportive of everyone, quirky, helpful, supportive, and one of my favorite teachers. Also, the students are great. Everyone is kind, and friendly and is willing to help out a peer. This school was amazing! I owe thanks to all the teachers at this school that I was close to because they helped prepare me for the high school that I was fortunate to attend. I recommend this middle to ANYONE! Sophomore: As a current student of GPM I enjoy this school. Many students start their own clubs (with staff permission and leadership) and sports are available to students through there home high school (as such with any other public charter/private schools). I am also a student council member, we put effort into planning events for the student body, such as dances. Students can revived 1:1 help from staff because of small class sizes and the academics are geared towards preparing us for college. Alum: Treasure Valley Math and Science Center was a good school. Overall, the teachers were both engaging and very caring/invested in students. The only downside was when I would become disengaged.
