Senior: DuPont Manual has many expectations for their students given that they are one of the best public high schools in Kentucky. They push for academic excellence and make sure each student is ready for college. There are many extracurricular activities to choose from also. The one thing that Manual can do is embrace their diversity even more. The school is filled with students of many backgrounds, but it does not seem like it's their top priority. Also, the climate can be pretty tense from the competitive nature of many students. Something should be done to prevent students from becoming toxic because of competition relating to academic achievement.

Senior: "We Are Male High!". These words have been said to me so many times, at football games, on the announcements every morning, and in the hallways at schools. This school just oozes school spirit, especially after winning state this past year! I love Male High School so much because you always feel apart of something when your here. Everyone is actually so nice, no one wants to just be mean to others for no reason. We have a lot of diversity too, what I'm most proud of at my school is our BSU (black student union) and or GSA (gay-straight alliance) programs. We are growing in new ways everyday, and I'm gong to miss this place with all of my heart.

Senior: I have been at the Brown School since I was in kindergarten so I have witnessed so many changes. The Brown has evolved more and more as I have grown. It has a great family atmosphere and a mostly inclusive atmosphere. The school has had some tough changes that strayed away from traditional values but the school is turning around for the best!

Senior: I liked that there was a little bit of everything for every kind of student, whether it was education level or clubs. Your teachers are very open-minded and well-rounded individuals. You're given the opportunity to improve and take more challenging classes, such as IB courses. I definitely recommend the school and they are beginning to offer new programs through the academies of Louisville. The principle is very enthusiastic and genuinely cares about the school and students. There is such a variety of people and personalities. There is actual diversity in the school and all students are given the opportunity to improve and become more educated citizens. The school is located in a very safe neighborhood and students are able to go to nearby local restaurants and try new things.

Parent: The teachers genuinely care, are kind and amazing. The principal is some power tripping control freak who runs the school like a detention camp. Children don't interact enough, teachers are frustrated with all the rules and all the parents talk about how awful their children's morale and mental state is. Principal Davis will kick out children if their grades are bad rather than find out what's wrong and help improve scores. She's so obsessed with being number one that there's no room for being human. I feel the school as a whole could be better without her, and she's the only reason I don't give the best elementary school in the state 5 stars.

Alum: My overall favorite grade at "JCTMS" was 8th grade because atmosphere was a lot more laid back then it was my 6th grade year. The teachers were fun and always caring about you and helpful with any life situations and/or school work. The school as a whole was to me a great traditional school and what I mean by that is that they made sure you followed the dress code , followed the attendance, and was ready to come learn everyday. There is probably nothing I would ask them to change about the school. I loved it!

Middle School Student: Meyzeek is pretty good. Classes are good, you will definitely learn something new in all classes. Meyzeek is pretty well rounded, considering the fact that they have many different electives that range from Graphic Arts to Gym to Robotics. As for the after school activities, Meyzeek has many. Academic ones, athletic ones- some are for fun too. Meyzeek is great and well rounded. The major complaint I hear about is either the food is horrible, or that other students sometimes disrupt learning. Other than that, Meyzeek is good.

Senior: I like Butler because not only are the students very friendly but, we have teachers and faculty that care about you like you are their own kid. Here at Butler I have met some of the best people including friends and faculty while attending Butler and they have made some of the biggest impacts on my life than anyone will. You can truly tell that the staff wants the best for you. I have learned some of the best things that I never thought I'd end up learning or even like. I feel that Butler was the best choice for me ans helped in many ways that I couldn't even imagine!

Parent: We are incredibly happy that our son has the opportunity to attend LPAS. The administration is just wonderful. As you walk down the halls you immediately notice how happy and enthusiastic the children are to learn! One of the positive qualities of LPAS is the parental involvement. The administration encourages parents to get involved in all areas, ie., PTA, assisting in classrooms, special events, teacher appreciation and mentoring to name just a few. Therefore, it is not just the student, but the entire family that takes pride in making our school and our children successful. We only wish the school went through to 8th Grade.

While attending this school I have gain access to some many opportunities within and outside the community. My sophomore year I got the opportunity to become one of the first ambassadors to represent the school. Then following my junior year I got the opportunity to become the first medical apprentice in the state of Kentucky. Going to this school you will get the opportunity to take career pathway class that will give you a glimpse of what it is like working in a specific career pathway. There are so many opportunities that you can gain from attending my school and joining the St. Matthews community.

Alum: I really liked the diversity there. I also had many great teachers. I loved being a student aid and getting to know the teachers and staff in a more personal manner. The classes were not that easy for me since I was in AP so it taught me a lot of valuable skills I use now in college. I also enjoyed being in Mock Trial for 4 years since it helped me become a better public speaker. I am also very happy that I got to create great memories with great people there that I know will get far in life. I loved being able to come together and show our different cultures to others at school and create a community that doesn't hate diversity and understands it so they respect it. I'm not sure what other high school has as much diversity as ours. Seneca Forever!

Junior: I LOVE Central. Being as though I would like to attend an HBCU, coming straight from a historically black high school really helps! Nearly all our teachers and administrators are alumni of Central, since they spent time at Central as a student and want to come back to work? Really shows that Central is THE place to be.

Senior: My experience with Westport Tapp has been amazing. They do so much to help each and every student be the best they can be without any cost. They bring help to the school for student who need someone to talk to such as mentors. They get tons of donations from local churches and give the things to all the young parents for free. They help out with every holiday and they make sure we stay safe. Westport Tapp is a really awesome school and I encourage any young parent to take the opportunity to go there.

Senior: I have been at Tapp my whole high school career it has given me and opportunity to sucked even with my child. The daycare is amazing .never will be a better one . on top of learning normal high school classes we have classes that prepared us for the work force and life after school like college,parenting and many other valuable skill. Through the years I have Never been at a school that felt like home until I came to TAPP. On top of everything we are provided with opportunities that aren't offered at normal school like are amazing Christmas incentive every year which help attendance improve.

High School Junior: If I had to go to another school at this point in time, id be heartbroken. The teachers truly put their faith in you and know you can achieve in life. Even if some of the kids parents are absent or non-supportive, they know their teachers will be there for them. As A kid who was bullied severely at her old school, this school has made me the great individual I am today. Without them I wouldn't have been able to find myself. If I had to do it all over again, id still choose this school.
