Senior: I love my high school and the staff. The clubs and opportunities are great, and the teachers really care about their students. However, things that I would like to change would include giving healthier school lunches and making sure the Measure D project doesn't affect students going to school. My school lunches are pretty unhealthy, with it usually being just a slice of pizza, or a burrito, or a cheeseburger, a milk, and a fruit/ vegetable each day, and that doesn't feed me for the rest of the school day. Secondly, the Measure D project that the school district has been currently working on since my freshman year, is taking forever, and sometimes affects getting to school and going about the school campus

Alum: I loved going to high school here! It’s a small town with a small high school. I loved how everyone could be everything at this school but because that’s true it makes it hard to have tons of AP and honors courses as well as many sports teams. Loved my teachers all very good, but I do have friends who had very poor math teachers. I feel this is one department that the school is lacking in. FFA program is awesome! The Athletic Director and Trainer make for a great small school athletics program. All throughout when I was here and since the school has been improving facilities and constantly adding new clubs. Overall I love THS!

Senior: Going here has been such an awesome experience! I love being a part of the small student body and “bronco family”. I've greatly enjoyed the teachers and curriculum here and the WIDE range of opportunities. Something you think would be scare at a smaller school...however CUHS offers positions in several clubs: Earth Club, Welding Club, Ski and Snowboard Club, Kindness Club, Interact Club, California Scholarship Federation, Cyber Patriot Team, an awesome FFA Club, and so much more! Also, I have been a prominent leader on campus by being involved in Associated Student Body which has been aa experience full of opportunity and growth. Finally, the amount of support from the surrounding community - Cambria - is truly astonishing. Over $100,000 in scholarships are offered to small graduating classes (mine being 39). Allowing kids to get financial aid for college. I feel that Coast Union has fully prepared and equipped me for the rest of my life and I couldn't be more appreciative of that.

Junior: Arroyo Grande High school so far has been amazing! I am a junior currently this year, and the administration and counselors are really helping me be ready and prepared for college. They set students up for a road to success, and they also offer classes for students who fail to yet reach this, and to help them get back on track. We are offered many opportunities to help decide and set the future we want for ourselves. No matter what challenges students face, the teachers, administrators, and counselors are always there to help. This school has really pushed me to my full potential and has not let me give up on myself.

Senior: I have been attending New Tech for all four years of my high school career. My sister was apart of the first graduating class and they had the opportunity to give lots of student input. Everyday at New Tech is so much fun and I actually like attending because it inspires me to want to learn. I now know from going their that I want to be a business owner one day and would never have realized that passion without the schools help! I have really enjoyed my high school experience there and will be sad to leave after this year (senior year), but feel extremely college ready.

Senior: A few things that I love about this school is that the teachers actually care about the student's well-being and life, the students are generally have a much more flexible personality, and the football games are always something to look forward to. Mainly the whole school is an overall nice place to be. The only downside would be the food provided. There isn't many healthy options and the fruit cups tend to cost more than the bags of chips, and to eat a certain food, the whole meal needs to be bought which costs around three dollars and fifty cents to four dollars.

Alum: I love going to the events at school we had. The best part about going to school is my senior year. I had a chance to get a free period. Free period allows students to leave early or come to school later. Even if you had a free period in between classes, you would get a longer lunch . Senior Year was also about taking advantage of school activities, such as Disneyland trips,senior pranks and senor ditch day . Senior ditch day was the best because my friends and I would drive down to Disneyland and spend a day and then come back to school knowing that we had fun that day and worry about getting into trouble because all the teachers were aware of the day.Lastly,and most importantly graduation was the best day of my life. Knowing that we had our freedom and we went though tough times throughout High School. At the end it was all worth it because we graduate together as class of 2008.
