Alum: I attended Bay Head Elementary School from 6th grade to 8th grade several years ago and academically I can genuinely say that this school was amazing, with all of my teachers being extremely knowledgeable and showing consideration towards student success. In fact, these teachers were so good that they most likely could have been college professors.
Socially and athletically, however, it was brutal, especially with only 10-15 kids per grade. If you didn’t get along with a couple people it ruined your whole experience. Also, our sports teams were horrendous at every sport (excluding tennis).
Overall, great school for academics and it will truly prepare you for high school and possibly your collegiate career. If you are considering going here to meet new people though I would not recommend attending this school.

Senior: It’s nice that they offer a MacBook Air to all students since 6th grade that you take home and return at the end of each year. Although some teachers do not allow work on laptop which is ridiculous considering what’s the point of having them. Certain teachers mostly in the history department and English do not teach at all, but that’s every school so. I have been attending point pleasant beach since 6th grade and it’s certainly a nice place for students to go. Students from here are seen differently because of our academic standings. We are the #1 school in ocean county!

Senior: My High Schools offers a multitude of extracurriculars, so I am very grateful to have had the chance to join over 10 clubs myself. The staff is also incredible, and I would not exchange the relationships I have made with my teachers for anything. They are always willing to stay after hours to help their students with classes, or anything they need. The teachers are supportive as well, and they are more than willing to help students with college concerns.

Alum: Overall my four years spent at Jackson Memorial were full of memories I will never forget. I gained my closest, most caring friends at this school. The school spirit flowed through the halls making it hard to feel like you did not belong. I made great relationships with teachers who educated me to be where I am today, in college. The football games were a symbol of unity, and you could find almost all of the school there. I was the captain of Varsity Volleyball and I felt as if that position shaped me into the leader I am today. They offered various courses, AP, honors, and many clubs as well. Some of the schools physical conditions were poor but overall I could deal with it. These four years were definitely not wasted and I would do them all over again if I could.

My favorite part about this school is how welcoming it is to all of their students. Senior: Walking through the doors of High School North the diversity is amazing. You can find every single type of student you can think of, and every one of those students is provided with resources they will enjoy. TRN includes over 45 clubs, more being created by students every year. Personally, my favorite thing about my high school is the teachers. I can guarantee anyone that will get a chance to spend a day at north will meet more than one teacher that absolutely loves their job. I can not describe how much I appreciate the staff. Another thing I really do love about HSN is the atmosphere. My favorite thing to do in my free time is to find out a sports game that night, and go support the team with a big crowd. Also, the arts (both performing and musical) are well loved throughout the school. The halls are always decorated, and school spirit weeks are huge! One of the only things I would change about my school is the time we start the day, because 7:00 is extremely early.

Senior: I really do love this school, but it really is difficult. Stay professional! You get what you put into it. Every school has a teacher you cannot stand or a teacher you will love and adore. I love all of my teachers dearly, and they have been the reason I strive for my goals and why I set the. If it wasn't for this school, I do not know where I would be or what I would go to college for.

Senior: My overall experience at High school South was magnificent, exceptional , and worthy. There was good times and bad times, but my teachers never failed to make sure I was always on track. During my time at High School South it was a phenomenal experience and always a good vibe from staff and students. The only thing i would change at south would be the academic material. Sometimes we did not have all the resources to complete or learn more about a certain topic ,but we managed. I wouldn't want to go to any other high school. This school made me who i am academically and socially.
