High School Junior: This school is great in the fact that most teachers care for having their students passing. But in my case the experience hasn't been how i expected. My freshmen year I didn't do sports which people judged me for. I stopped talking to most of the people i did for my own good because i know that they weren't the same as they were back in Junior High when we were all friends. So, the fact that i didn't do sports and that i didn't talk to many people have made me not enjoy and not experience what a normal high school student experience.... Read 4 reviews

Senior: Moving from a 5A school to a 2A school as a sophomore was definitely a major change. I was welcomed with open arms, and met so many friends. There are so many teachers at Hico that are so caring, and want their students to succeed. I feel safe going to school everyday, especially with all the security we have. There are some schools that don't have security, so we are very blessed to have that. I have enjoyed Hico, and can't wait to graduate with my friends in 2020!... Read 38 reviews

Niche User: Jonesboro is a very sports-oriented school. That's really all we have, besides FFA, One Act Play, and 4H. Personally, I wish we had some sort f a music program, but that's just me. They're very family-oriented, and the community is always there to lend a helping hand in whatever way the school needs. Pep rallies are great, the sports a re fun to watch -though we rarely make it past halftime because we 45 the other team. If I had to choose again, I would definitely stick with going to Jonesboro.... Read 20 reviews
